Need someone

Everyone needs someone in their life that makes them happy, safe, loved and all of that, but finding a new someone can be hard.

I tell myself I won’t talk to you again,

Won’t speak to you again,

Won’t see you again,

Won’t agree to meet up again,

Won’t be in your life anymore,

But when I see your name on my phone calling,

I give in,

I can’t help it,

You mean too much,

When I hear your voice,

I melt a little,

When I see your arms held out asking for a hug,

I almost breakdown,

When you stare into my eyes,

I go dizzy,

And reading that,

I realise how much I actually need you back,

Back in my life at least,

Not back with me,

But I need you,

Need someone to be there for me,

And I’ll be there for you,

I guess all I’m trying to say is I miss you.
