I warned you

You know the saying "it'll end in tears".... It usually does, but even after warning and telling someone what'll happen and them ignoring you, they eventually come back to you crying, when they should've listened.

I warn you,

You don't believe me,

So you try anyway,,

Then you make me feel bad,

When I warned you in the first place,

When I told you not to,

'Cos you'd end up being the one getting hurt,

I always watch out for you,

More than you realise,

More than you know,

But lately you're pushing me away,

And I'm letting it happen,

There's only so much I can do for one person,

I've never cared this much about anyone,

I try to get through to you,

But you don't want to listen anymore,

What else can I do

But let myself be pushed away,,

Even though you told me you'd never break me,

But you never keep your word,

You always break it,

And I'm the one who has to pick all the pieces up,

But I won't anymore,

'Cos it seems that no matter what i do,

What I try,

What I say,

I'm never good enough,

I'm never good enough for you,

And I won't ever be up to your standards.
