Your POV

For the last few weeks, I've been feeling lonely at home while my boyfriend, Niall, was at work recording songs for the new upcoming album. I knew what I signed up for, but regardless I love him, I just miss him, that's all.

"I'm home!" I heard him.

Getting up from bed, I quickly made my way downstairs to greet him like usual.

"Hey babe!" I kissed his cheek.

"Hello love!" He smiled, kicking off his shoes.

"How was work?" I asked.

"Good, recorded a few songs and wrote some more, what about you? My gorgeous princess."

"It was good, just a little bored, but good." I tried giving off hints.

"Bored? You could have gone out with the girls or gone shopping or-" I cut him off.

"I just miss you, that's all." I finally admitted.

"Princess." Niall hugged me tight.

"It's just you're always at work or you have tour and I feel lonely at home. I know what I signed up for when we started dating, but that didn't matter to me because I love you."

"I love you too, and tomorrow and all the days after that, you won't be lonely okay? Just wait and see." He smiled, kissing my forehead.

"Okay, thank you." I rested my head on his chest.

"Now, we will go upstairs, maybe take a nap, do other things if you know what I'm saying." He smirked.

"Oh, stop!" I playfully pushed him.

"You love it when I make you fell good!" He laughed.

"Go take a nap." I giggled.

"Okay, okay, but you have to stay with me."

"That was part of the plan, wasn't it?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Cheeky little thing!" Niall smiled wide.

"Come on!" I pulled his hand, taking him upstairs to take a well deserved nap.

**Next Morning**

I woke up, turning around like usual to greet Niall like every morning, except he wasn't there. Did he have to leave extra early to record? Did we really just slept through the whole night since our 'nap'? Impressive.

I stood up, going to the bathroom to do my daily morning routine of bathing and overall getting ready for the day. I was headed downstairs hoping to find Niall, but I didn't.

"Where could he have gone?" I mumbled to myself.

I pushed the thought to the back of mind and decided to just wait for him while I make breakfast for myself. In the kitchen, I saw a note on the counter and read it to myself.

(Y/N), I went out for a bit to get something, I'll be back in an hour or so after you've woken up. Don't miss me too much! ;) I love you!  -Niall

He's so adorable! I set the note back on the counter and began making breakfast that consisted of scrambled eggs and bacon with some toast.
I sat down on the couch, turning on the TV, changing channels to find something interesting.
This was my morning for now.
...

I heard the door unlock and in came Niall with his coat stuffed.

"Hey babe!" He smiled.

"Hey, what's in the coat? Is it drugs?" I joked.

"No, I'm too innocent to be doing that kind of stuff."

"What we've done says otherwise." I laughed.

"Not gonna lie there!" He smirked slightly.

"So, what's in the coat?" I asked again.

"A surprise."

"Can I see this surprise then?"

"Of course, it's for you, but close your eyes."

I closed my eyes and covered them with my hands.

"They're closed."

"Okay, 1...2...3!"

IT'S A PUPPY!

"Niall!" I squealed, crouching down to pick up the adorable puppy.

"I'm glad you like your surprise princess." He walked towards me and the furry animal in my arms.

"It's a boy, and he needs a name, any ideas?" He petted the pup.

"What about Buddy?"

"I like it."

"This is the best gift I've ever got!"

"Well, you did say you would get lonely while I'm away and so I thought a puppy could keep you company." He rested his head in my shoulder.

"Thank you so much!"

"No problem, love. As long as you're happy, I'm happy, now let's set this little guy up."

"Come along little baby, welcome to your new home!" I picked up Buddy and followed Niall, ready to enjoy living with a new member of the family.

Do you guys have any pets?
I have blue pitbull named Mikey lol he's great but wakes me up so freaking early. He also hates a lot of things ha!
