2018 was coming to an end, and the way you decided to celebrate the new year is by staying in the comfort of your home. Away from the crazy streets and crowds.
Though many would agree that this year was one of the worst (a/n lowkey me) you seemed to have enjoyed it more than previous years.
In 2018, you had finished school, and started working is your field of interest. You finally had the career you always dreamed of. You had the best support that had your back in everything. That including your tight knit of friends and your boyfriend, Niall. This year had also been a very good one for him as well. He visited so many cities while in your and did so many things with his music. You were extremely proud of him as he was for you.
As you both laid on the sofa in front of the television, Niall pulled out his phone and opened Snapchat.
"What are you doing?" You curiously asked.
"Just a little snap chatting to end the year on good terms."
"Of course, you're obsessed with that app." You laughed.
"Am not, I just prefer using it over others."
"Whatever. I'm going to go get some wine to end the year on good terms." You mimicked.
"Bring me some too!" Niall called out before you left to the kitchen.

On you short trip back, you saw Niall still talking to the camera.
"I love you guys so much. I'm looking forward to an even better 2019." He said. "And it's posted, now pass the wine, love."
"You know, I'm glad I get to walk into the new year with you still by my side." You said, taking a sip of your wine.
"I couldn't agree more."
