You wanted a puppy really bad. It was a necessity, especially because you were home alone most of the time since your boyfriend Niall was busy with his career.

You supported him fully, but the house did get lonely with just you in it. You needed something to keep you up and running, to keep you busy and keep your spirits up while Niall was away.

You've asked Niall about getting a puppy to raise together as your own little fur baby. He would say that he wouldn't have time to take care of a puppy and it would be too much for just you to take care of it, so you pushed the idea of ever getting a dog to the back of your head.

At the moment you were in FaceTime with Niall, a daily routine for you both whenever he was away. He could be the busiest at any given day, but he always made time to call you and it just made you love him even more.

"I miss you!" You said to him.

"I miss you too, love. I promise I'll be back before you even know it."

"I know, I just get really lonely at home without you." You confessed.

"Aw. I'm sorry, baby. If I could catch a flight directly home I would."

"I know you would because you're the greatest boyfriend ever." You smiled.

"Of course I am!" Niall laughed. "Alright, darling. I have to go now, but I'll call you tomorrow. Again, I'll be home soon, I love you."

"I love you too, Ni."

"Bye, baby."

"Bye, Ni."

Niall was not on tour. He was actually headed back home to a farm to go pick up a puppy, but of course he didn't tell you that. He knew how much you wanted one, but he just never had the time.
Now, he did and he was willing to go through the puppy training and many house accidents in order to make his girlfriend happy.

Niall had called in advance when he saw a picture of the perfect pup on an ad. From then on, he knew he had to have it.

He got the puppy and soon went to the pet supply store for all the puppy's necessities.

"(Y/N) is going to be over the moon with you." Niall chuckled as he put in the bags in the back along with the dog.

Niall arrived home, carefully going inside without making any noise. The living room lights were off meaning you were upstairs in the bedroom.

He carefully made his way up the stairs, slowly opening the door. Your back was facing him, and you had on earphones, blasting your favorite song. Niall took the opportunity to set the dog behind you and waiting for you to see it.

The puppy starting moving and scared as to what was behind you since you were home 'alone' you turned around and saw the most cutest puppy ever.

"Oh my god! A puppy!" You hugged the pup, still not noticing Niall.
"Where did you come from?"

You looked up and saw your boyfriend, smiling at the scene in front of him.

"Niall!" You quickly got up, still holding the puppy in your arms, hugging Niall and kissing his cheek.

"Hello, love. I see you liked your new dog."

"More like love! He/She is so cute!" You squealed. "Thank you."

"Anything for you. I know you always wanted one because you feel lonely when I'm not around, but guess this little furball will help you with that." He pet the dog.

"You don't know how happy I am."

"Also, I forgot to mention I get to stay home for a month completely."

"Now I'm even more happy!" You hugged Niall again.
"Thank you again!"

"You're welcome, baby. As long as this furball doesn't take you away from me."

"I'll share my love with you both." You kissed Niall's cheek and hen kissed your new puppy's head.

This by far was your favorite gift and moment of all time.
