Decorating the House:

You and Niall were outside, decorating the house with bright lights, tall inflatable figurines and making your house presentable for the holidays.

Niall was on the roof fixing the lights around the house, he insisted on doing them himself instead of calling his friends or anyone to help him.

"I got this. Don't worry about it." Niall said as he untangled the Christmas lights.
"How hard can it be to hang up a couple of tiny lights."

After ten minutes, Niall was clueless and frustrated, but he wouldn't tell you that. He had just bragged about being capable of doing it himself and he was on the verge of calling you. You on the other hand, had the easy job by decorating on the safety of the ground and only hanging the wreath on the door and the garland on the light posts and pillars.

While you were fixing a garland on a pillar, you heard Niall call your name from the roof.

"(Y/N)!"

"Yes, Niall?" You replied, teping back to see him from on top of the room.

"Can you come here and help me?"

Niall was wrapped from head to toe in Christmas lights.

"I thought you said you didn't need any help?"

"I lied, now come help me before I trip and fall of this damn roof."

With a shake of your head, you got up to help your boyfriend untangle himself from the lights.

¨You really need to accept the fact that you can't do everything, hun." You smiled as you helped him out of the bundles of lights.

"But I know you will always be there for me when I get tangled in my own mess." He laughed as he broke free from the last set of Christmas lights.
"Always, because we're a team. You and I." You kissed his cold cheek.

Christmas Tree:

After yesterday's incident of the tangled Christmas lights, it was now time to decorate the tree. It was a big artificial tree (a/n save the trees and planet yo) that reached the ceiling on the living room. It was a forest green color and was soon going to hold many ornaments and decorations to give it life.

"I'm so ready to decorate the tree." You said with excitement.

It was one of your favorite parts during the holiday season. Being able to decorate a tree that will illuminate the living room and be filled with presents at the bottom made you happy, and now that you were able to do it with Niall, it meant so much more.

"There so much to hang up." Niall shook his head.

"The tree needs to look pretty, and all of these pretty ornaments will do that." You said.

"It will take the entire day, especially with the huge tree you decided to buy."

"Quit whining, besides, I need you help for the top part of the tree." You opened a few of the ornament boxes.
"And if you're good, then you'll get an early Christmas present." You winked.

"Where do you want me to start?" Niall asked, making you laugh at his sudden interest in decorating the tree.

"You can start by simply just hanging the ornaments, but none of the same color should be close to each other." You stated, grabbing a box yourself to begin working on the decorating.
