Summer Series: Camp Waterfall Pt.3

Pretty sure y'all know the drill, but here it is again. You and Niall are 18.

Your POV

"That was so cool!" Marian yelled as we all walked back to our cabin.

"Yeah! That's the first time I see Niall look like that!" Josie laughed.

"It was nothing. I was just looking out for my team, if you guys despise their group so will I. We're here to win together, not make allies with the opposing team." I replied.

"This is great! You should totally take up on his offer." Fiona said surprising us all. We all looked back at her with wide eyes.

"I would expect that from Marian being all boy crazy, but not you Fiona." I said.

"Well, I am very competitive and you know what they say. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Getting close to Niall will give us an advantage by distracting him from his leaderly duties." She said proudly.

"That's actually not bad." I agreed.

"See! There's more to me than my athleticism."

"Of course, but how will I recover from seriously burning Niall back there. I'm sure him and his ego are pissed at me right now, definitely planning vengeance on me right now." I sighed.

"You haven't met him fully. He was practically kissing your feet. Your beauty hypnotizes him." Fiona waved her hands like a magician.

"Oh, please stop." I laughed at her comment.

"There's everything, but beauty on this face."

"Didn't seem like that to Niall, which is why, we'll be sneaking you into his cabin. Control that little mind of him and lead us to victory."

The girls cheered.

"Are you sure it's not cheating? I've heard that's a big thing here." I raised my eyebrow.

"Nonsense. They do it all the time and never get caught." She replied.

"Okay, but if we're this close to getting caught." I said with my pointer finger and thumbs showing little to no space between them. "Or if it's going downhill, we quit it. Deal?"

"Deal."

What have I gotten myself into?

...

"Fiona?"

"Yes, (Y/N)?" She replied, walking fast towards the male side of the cabins.

"I'm starting to have second thoughts about this. It feels wrong." I sighed.

"What feels wrong is losing to a group of irritating boys every year." She huffed.

"Okay, we're here. It's still early, so the whole sneaking in is plan B. You'll just strut your stuff to their cabin door and have a flirty conversation."

"I've never flirted with anyone before, let alone talked to a boy this late at night, uhm, alone." I coughed.

"Really? You were a natural in the dining hall. He was drooling a pool." She laughed along with the girls.

"I literally did nothing, Fi."

"Then keep doing it." Fiona pushed up towards the cabin door. Light was peeking from under it, and loud laughter could be heard, followed by the slight movement of the cabin, close to a mini earthquake.
