Reminder! You and Niall are 18 (i've finally decided lol) , it's the summer before your last year of high school.

Also, Niall is a bit of a cocky asshole. Sorry.

Your POV

Getting into camp, all I could say was nothing. My mouth was open, looking at the tall pine trees envelope the entire area. The humidity of the place was begging to bug me, along with literal bugs roaming around. Though I do appreciate the aesthetic pictures I could take later for my social media.

I had my bags by my side, and stood awkwardly. I had lost Josie once I got off the bus. I hoped I didn't have to start a conversation in order to get where I needed to be. Fortunately, a middle aged woman approached me with a clipboard and pen in her hand, she smiled at me before welcoming me to camp.

"Hi! Welcome to Camp Waterfall, my name is Beth and I am one of the organizers for the camp." She stuck her hand out to shake.

"Are you a camper or counselor?"

"It's nice to meet you, I'm (Y/N) and I'm a, uh, counselor." I replied shyly.

"Wonderful, you can follow me so I can take you to your cabin and meet your group of girls."

Beth turned around, I followed closely behind, memorizing the back of her head. There were a lot of kids around and I could not get lost on the first day. That would be the worst thing that could possibly happen.

Moving past the crowd of people, she lead me to the cabin area while talking about it at the same time.

"This is the cabin area. Girl cabins are to the right and boy cabins to the left. You will be sharing it with a group of six girls, who I belive are inside already." She smiled.

"Here is copy of tonight's schedule, it's a simple night. You'll stay in the cabin for about an hour getting to know each other before we all go to the dining hall for dinner, and then meet outside by the bonfire for a classic night of campfire songs and treats."

"Seems fun." I smiled, going up the stairs of the cabin.

"Here is your key and badge. Don't lose it! You'll be given a shirt before lights are out. We'll be going around making sure everyone is inside. Again, welcome to camp. It will be so much fun! Alright, go in there, settle in and meet your group." Beth left me in front of the cabin door. Light was peeking from the blinds of the windows and laughter could be heard from inside.

With a sigh, I opened the door and five pairs of eyes were on me. Oh, how I love being the center of attention.

"(Y/N)! You're my counselor!" It was Josie, the only girl I knew in the entire camp. It must've been my lucky day to have her in my group out of all kids. Truly a coincidence.

"That's great! Such luck we have!" I nodded relieved.

"Totally, oh, these are the other team members. They've also been coming to camp for a while and we know each other pretty well." Josie smiled.

"I'll introduce you to them."

Josie pulled me inside the spacious room with bunk beds on either side of it. There were four girls who I've never seen in my life, but was bound to get to know them and live with for the summer.

"This is Marian." Josie said. She wore thin, golden glasses and had long brown hair cascading down her back.

"That's Emerson." Josie pointed to a quiet girl in the back who was in her own little world. She had earphones in and she was bobbing her head to the music. Her dark brown hair contrasted the bright blue tips.
