Queens was hectic. It was filled with an insane amount of people that crowded the streets day and night. The different people you could meet in a day was an astonishing concept, but the huge population also attracted the villains that wanted control and take over everything. With villains also came heroes, and Queens, or more so New York, had their friendly, neighborhood, Spider-Man.

You POV

Science was not my forte, but my lab partner on the other hand was an expert, the reincarnation of Einstein. His name was Niall Horan and if it wasn't for him, my science grade would break the record of being the lowest ever. I was grateful to be paired up with him because of his superb intellectuality, and not to mention that he was also really cute, but I would never say that. Besides, he was too focused in his studies, trying to get into the best schools. He was an awkward boy who was really cute, but would be nothing more than my lab partner and tutor.

"(Y/N)!"

I woke up from my daydreaming, Niall looked at me with concern. Probably thinking why I wasn't paying attention when I needed it the most. Our teacher had called on me, waiting for an answer of a question I most likely didn't know.

"Yes?"

"What is the most common isotope for hydrogen?"

"Uh." I began to think if I ever even went over that. So far, my brain was empty.

"Protium." Niall whispered next to me.

"P-Protium." I answered relieved.

"Correct. I almost thought you weren't paying attention again. Nice job, Miss (Y/L/N)."

"Thank you." I whispered back at Niall once the teacher had turned around. He smiled and continued with his notes, and so did I before I got anymore lost.

I was walking down the hallway, books in my hand and avoiding bumping into other students as I made my way to my locker. Today, like every other week, I would go home with Niall for tutoring. Just tutoring. Together, we would walk to his apartment building, talking about our day in school. It never really went anymore deeper than that. He was an awkward boy who most likely had other greater things to do.

I made it to my locker, punching in the code and opening and putting the textbooks I didn't need for today's homework and tutoring. I kept my heavy chemistry book, and close my locker behind me. With a sigh, I went to look for Peter, following the same path to the sandwich shop near the school. He's mentioned that it was his favorite, to which I smiled and agreed because it was my favorite too.
Before tutoring, we'd grab a footlong sandwich and split it half, eating it while walking to his place and again, talking about the school day.

I walked to the sandwich shop, textbook to my right side and my backpack slinged on my left shoulder. I immediately saw Niall. His back was turned to me and his head was ducked into a book. Smiling to myself, I walked over to him, and with some hesitation that I brushed off, I tapped his shoulder, startling him a bit.
