Your POV

"Alright troops, I don't want to come home empty handed. These are deals we're talking about. A new TV, a new Xbox, a new juice blender!" Niall 'strictly' said to the family.

Black Friday was like a family tradition. The night before we went out, he would gather us up and give us a pep talk. It was exciting to go out and almost beat someone for a deal as he put it, but in the end, we came back and talked about everything that went on, always laughing at the end of it.

"But dad, we don't need a juice blender." Our oldest son, 16, Liam said.

"He's got a point for once, dad." Niamh, our daughter, two years younger than Liam said.

"Shut up." He rolled his eyes.

"Kids, it doesn't  matter, a deal is deal! Now, ladies and gentlemen, are we ready to go out there and get the best of the best?!" Niall yelled.

"Yeah!" The youngest of the family, Rory yelled with the same enthusiasm as his dad. He was thirteen and his dad was his hero.

"That's what I'm talking about! Give me five, buddy." Niall and Rory high-fived while I just stared at them in awe.

"Okay, does everyone have their phone on ringer?"

"Yes." The three kids said.

"Good, now, everyone grab a taser" Niall pulled out a box that had four teasers inside.

"Cool!" Liam grabbed one and looked at with wide eyes.

"Niall!" I scolded. "Our kids don't need a taser, go return those tomorrow or so help me you won't see next week."

"Better do what mom says." Niamh nodded.

"Ugh fine, but if you kids get trampled, call me." Niall said while putting up the box of tasers.
"Okay? Good! Everyone in the car!"

Niall headed towards the door firsts and was the first one inside the car.

"Come on!" He yelled as he rolled the window down.

"Is he really being serious?" Niamh questioned.

"Yep, but at least we get to go out and possibly punch someone without any problems." Liam shrugged and got inside the car.

"There will be no punching." I assured. "I hope." I mumbled to myself, getting on the passengers side and buckling in.

Niall didn't hesitate to drive off to the mall.  He was so hyped up for this every year, and he only seemed to get more into it as the years went by. It became tradition to go, even if buying useless items for the lowest prices was what we went home with. We all got together and laughed about it in the end, nothing would change that.

Black Friday, the Horan's are coming.
