Gay is Okay

I was inspired of the recent events involving the LGBTQ community. I'm really hurt and saddened by this situation and how people are still not being accepted for who they are. I am a full supporter of the LGBT community. Spread peace and love all around the world! I hope you enjoy this special chapter, thank you!

(Y/S/N) means your son's name for this imagine.

Niall POV

(Y/S/N) was acting weird lately. I was worried for my only son, he was the oldest of my three kids and even if he was 16, he was still my little buddy. Today I planned on talking to him, having a manly talk as we haven't really had one since he was 13 and we talked about puberty. It was a nice chat.

I was picking him up from school today, which would give me the opportunity to talk with him and listen to whatever he has to say.

I saw him slowly making his way out of the front building door, many teenagers passing besides him and talking along the way. He was alone, carrying his gym bag, almost dragging it.

"Hey (Y/S/N)!" I smiled.

"Hey dad." He mumbled, putting on his seat belt and dropping his bags in the back.

"How was your day?" Small talk, don't want to scare him off or make him feel uncomfortable.

"It was good, yours?"

"Mine was great, thanks for asking." I drove away from his school.

It was silent for a bit, (Y/S/N) scrolling through his phone.

"What's on your mind?" I asked out of no where, so much for small talk.

" Huh?" He looked up from his phone.

"Tell me what's on your mind, I've noticed you've been a little off lately, so what's up?"

"Nothing. Just stressing over school." He shuffled in his seat.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, don't worry about it dad." He slightly smiled, going back to his phone.

"Okay, just know you can tell me anything, alright?" I rubbed his shoulder, while still keeping one hand on the steering wheel.

"Of course."

"Cool, now go inside and change, I'll get your stuff for you."

"Thanks." He undid his seat belt and quickly went inside.

I opened the door from the backseat, grabbing his bags. I locked my car and headed inside.

"Honey, I'm home!" I chuckled, taking off my shows and hanging up the keys on the key hanger.

"Daddy!" My 7 year old came running from upstairs.

"Munchkin!" I lowered down to her height, engulfing her into a hug, lifting her from the ground. "How's my little princess doing?"

"Good!" She giggled cutely.

"Where's your mum?"

"In the kitchen making food." I set her down on the floor.

"Why don't you watch some cartoons while I go talk to her, okay?"  I raised my eyebrow.

"Kay, daddy." She skipped to the living room.

I walked into the kitchen where my amazing wife stood. I walked up behind her, and wrapped my arms around her.

"Hey beautiful." I kissed her cheek.
