I sit on the floor of the shower while the cold water runs over my back. The sound of the running water drowns out my tears.

Today was Jack's funeral and I was not ready. The past week since his death, I had been a mess. Constant voice mails and texts from friends and family flooded my inbox. I refused to answer any. I knew what they all said.

"Sorry for your loss Sam! Hope you're well."

"We miss you at school. Come back soon!"

"Stay strong Sammy!"

I had a text from every person imaginable.

Now it was only Bradley and I.

I haven't said a word to Bradley ever since that day I attacked him in the hospital. His drinking has been getting worse now. He comes home drunk every night, he's been in so many bar fights and because of his constant hangovers, the house smells like vomit.

"Samantha?" A soft voice whispers.

"Go away."

"Come on babe. Please don't be like that." Harry sighs.

Ever since Jack died, I shut everyone out. Even Harry.

"Leave me alone."

The bathroom door opens and someone steps in. The flow of cold water stops falling on me, making me shiver.

Harry pulls back the shower curtain and drapes a warm towel over my shoulders, helping me stand up.

He carefully dries me off, making sure that I was completely dry.

Normally I would be afraid of someone touching me like that, but I was so far out of reality, I didn't care.

Harry drops the towel and takes off his shirt. He pulls it over my head and fixes it so it falls to my thighs.

He leans down and places a kiss on my forehead.

My head falls on Harry's chest and I start to cry. He pulls me into him and holds me tight. He slowly falls to the ground and pulls me on his lap.

"Shh love." He whispers. "I know, it's hard. Everything will be okay."

Somehow, I knew he was right. Jack wouldn't want me to cry. Jack would want me to be strong.

"If you don't want to go to the funeral, you don't have to." Harry rubs my back.

I sit up and use my hands to wipe my eyes. Harry tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.

"I have to go. I need to say one last goodbye."

Harry nods and smiles. "Come on." He helps me off the floor. "I'll help you get ready."

**

Harry had dried my hair while I put my make up on. The make up covered up any traces that I had been crying.

Harry went to my room to grab my clothes.

I stand there, looking at my reflection. I couldn't help but see my brother. We all took after my father, and that only makes everything harder. Bradley is the spitting image of my dad. I used to see someone warm and comforting. Now I only see a drunken asshole.

Harry comes back in and hangs my dress up on the door. It was a short white dress. A form fitting summer dress. It had a thin blue ribbon around the waist.

Jack loved the color blue.

Harry helps me into the dress and zips it up for me. To calm my nerves, Harry starts to hum.
