You walked in to the diner late one night. You sat down at the bar and ordered some coffee. You glanced over your shoulder and saw Hodgins, your ex boyfriend, an his new girlfriend.
You two broke up on bad terms. You still had feelings for him. But he had moved on.
You tired to ignore him best you could. But he had seen you. He excused him self from his girlfriend and walked over you.
"Hey Y/N." He said kinda quietly.
"Hi jack..." You said.
"It's been a month since I've seen you."
"Yeah, I can count."
"I see your still mad."
"Why wouldn't I be? You hurt me jack." You told him.
"Look I didn't mean to hurt you."
"Well you did, and by the looks of it, you've moved on, and so have I." You said.
"Do you still wanna be friends?" He asked.
"No, I don't really."
"Why not?"
"Because I don't want to get in the way of you too, even though I should be the one making you happy. But it's okay because you look happier with her."
He opened his mouth to speak, but you didn't want to hear it.
"I have to go, I wish you two the best of luck."
