|Chapter: 47|

"This is not normal. I mean what kind of guy takes you out on your first date in a forest. Do you think he is upto something that I should be worried about?", I asked fidgeting with the hem of my black sweater as Sarah did my hair.

"I guess Nick kind of guy does that", she shrugged nonchalantly. She was not helping at all.

"Plus look at the time, its past six and dark already. Honestly I'm scared", I admitted.

Before she could say something, her phone beeped on the dresser.

"Can you check that for me?"

I nodded my head as I reached for her phone and opened the unread message. I cringed the moment I saw the person's name who texted saved as. Seriously, I thought.

Zac, the biggest dick. 🍌

I shook my head and read the text out loud, "Everything is ready. How far are you?"

She immediately snatched the phone out of my hand and giggled nervously.

"What is that about?", I asked looking at her in the mirror.

"N-nothing. You know how Zac is, always doing crazy stuffs and I've no idea what he is getting ready for. I guess I gotta check later."

I'll never get these two.

"Your hair is done. You look as beautiful as always." She hugged me from the back.

"All thanks to you", I said standing up.

"Anytime. Now go! Nick must be waiting for you", she pushed me out of the door.

I huffed out air to calm down. Its not like I'm going out with him first time alone. We always did. But when he said its a date. Obviously I'd be a nervous wreck. Even my palms were sweating in this freezing weather. Don't blame the girl who haven't been to a single date in seventeen years of her life because she has the right to be.

Collecting all the guts and ignoring all the animals going wild inside my stomach I opened the front door and step out.

And just like I thought, there he was standing with his hands iniside his brown color pants. Wait, did I see that right? Or am I suffering from color blindness? I blinked my eyes and yes they weren't his usual black pants and he too had a black sweatshirt on with his white shoes. His messy dirty blonde were pushed behind, lips twitched in a smirk and dark mesmerising orbs watching me. His gorgeousness has no boundary.

"Do I look that bad? I wish you are not thinking to back down and dump me on our first date", he said walking to me when he noticed I was stick to the porch.

Bad? Its no even a word for me anymore if bad means bad until it means handsome.

Get a grip Serena.

"No I was just wondering what you did to my bad boy with leather jacket, black pants and brown boots", I tried to sound cool but I know I was failing miserably, with him so close to me now.

"Your bad boy huh?", he asked with the smirk. My eyes widened. Did I say my bad boy?

"Eh.. I mean.. We s-should get g-going", I stammered taking a step back from him.

He chuckled, "You surely didn't mean that, but I'll let you off the hook this time." Then he took my hand in his before guiding me the way deeper into the woods.

We kept on walking for what felt like fifteen minutes. And surprisingly I didn't even question. In that moment the only thing I could think of was, how warm his hand was as we walked hand in hand and it felt like I could trust him even with my eyes closed. I know I doubted before but now with him, all the doubts I had vanished into the thin air.
