I gulped at his appearance suddenly not being able to move. Just like before...

"I heard you've been looking for me."

He said as he took a step closer

"I-It's you.."

"Is there something you need to say to me?"

I opened my mouth but words refused to come out.

"Bella? Bella? Bella!!"

I snapped up at the loud voice. I looked up to see Mr.Kim staring at me with a disapproving look.

I must be exhausted for me to be sleeping at work.

"Sleeping at work? That can cost you.."

"I wouldn't sleeping at work if I had gotten the proper sleep I needed. But no. I'm here"

I muttered as I stood up straight and stretched a little.

"You're lucky you're my best worker, otherwise you would've been fired a long time ago for those smart remarks."

"Once again Mr.Kim, I'm your only worker. Anyway shouldn't you be leaving? I'm sure you have a date with some unlucky woman."

He chuckled at my comment.

"Actually I do. Thanks for staying and closing the shop tonight by the way."

"Like I had a choice."

"Cheer up kiddo. I know I don't make it easy for you but your hard work does not go unnoticed. Trust me."

"Thanks Mr.Kim. Have fun on your date I guess."

He ruffled my hair before leaving out.

I sighed. Another day, another dollar.

Ugh I am so tired of working here and doing the same thing over and over. It's getting really old.

"Hi welcome in—" I quickly stopped the greeting seeing that it was just Jackson. I promise, it's like he just has no life. "Oh. It's just you"

"Wow you know I'm actually getting tired of the unprofessionalism. Treat me with respect dammit!" He said as he took a seat right in front of me.

I looked at him with the dried facial expression.

"Boy shut up. What's up, what are you doing here?"

He chuckled. "You always ask that as if I'm not here like everyday."

Well, that is true.

"Anyway, damn this place is empty. Has it been a slow day?"

"Well yeah.  A very slow day." I replied sighing. I am completely bored out of my mind.

I grabbed his usual and placed it in front of him knowing he would ask for it anyway. He did something unusual once I gave it to him. Usually, he would give me a bright smile and thanks claiming I'm a life saver. But this time, he looked down at it and sighed.

"What? Not digging pie today?"

"I'm just....not in the mood"

I grew concerned. Jack has never been "not in the mood" Something is definitely going on with him.

"Okay." I said "What's going on really? Just tell me"
