I awaken to something heavy on my stomach.
What is that?
I squint my eyes open a little bit to see a beautiful, handsome face. The look of peace taking over his features. I look at my stomach to see his arm draped over it, and my heart involuntarily flutters.
I glance over to the alarm clock and decide that there isn't any reason to rush to the house quite yet.
I lay there and stare at his face. Taking in small, light wrinkle, every small acne scar. He doesn't have many.
He takes a deep breath and moves his hand down the side of my stomach. It wraps around my waist and pulls me towards him. If he were awake I'd take it off, hiding how thin I was. But he's asleep. And I'm not going to disturb him.
I stay there, just staring at him in awe. He's so beautiful. I don't know how long we stayed like that, but by the time I looked at the clock again it was time to go. I slowly got up, taking his arm off of me in the process.
I slip on my shoes, give him one last look, and leave the room.
After getting Jesse, we head home.
