Life is hard, but it's how hard you make it yourself. If you don't look positive at the things that life gives you, you'll end up a mess, my therapist always said to me. She's right. I need to focus on the positive things in life like my family and friends and not to forget Michael.

He's my rock, my everything. When he yesterday admitted that he loved me, I was speechless and almost forgot why I was crying. We kissed a little afterward, and then he brought me home like a real gentleman. I'm so in love with him, but I didn't tell him yesterday. For me, it's too soon. I hope he won't think differently now he admitted his love for me and I didn't. Hopefully, he'll feel it when I show it to him. When I kiss him it is with my whole heart and soul. I trust him; I need him, I want him. This is my life now. I'll choose who's a part of it and who's not.

I will not hide anymore. Time steps forward and not backward. I am who I am and that's enough for me and for the people I adore. I'm going to be me. The bell rings and I rush down the stairs to open it, but mom had already opened it. I enter the hallway with a wide smile. "Michael, I wanted to tell you how pleased we are with you in our lives. Sofia has changed since she met you. She's a lucky child again." I hear mom talking to Michael. "She did it all by herself, Jenny. She's strong, and I'm glad she's in my life now. She made me the happiest person in the world." Michael tells her, secretly contacting me. He must have seen me coming."Sofia, I'm almost ready with dinner. Do you take Michael's coat so I can stir further or dinner will be ruined?" Mother informs me hastily before running back to the kitchen.

"Come on, let's go to my room." I take Michael's hand and usher him upstairs. "I like that." Michael chuckles. Together we let ourselves fall on the bed. Michael quickly pulls me against his body, feeling the heat radiating through his green shirt and light blue jeans jacket. "Fuck, I forgot to hang your coat away," I told him sheepishly. "You're such a terrible host." Michael chuckles, pressing his forehead against mine. "I know," I admit silently. "How are you now?" Michael his voice turns serious. "I'm alright," I replied to him with a small smile. "Are you sure?" His expression was stern. "Yes, I'm telling the truth. I've been thinking a lot about it, and maybe it was a good thing it happened." I inform him.

Michael takes a little distance from me and eyes me curiously. "Are you becoming mad?" He asked me dead seriously. "Michael, you're exaggerating. I know it seems hard to believe, but it made me think about my life. I know now that I need you more than ever in my life and my friends and family. I don't want to think about fake people at school. I need a fresh start and from now on, the old Sofia that was too prudish to come up for herself is buried forever. Meet the new, stronger Sofia." I tell him boldly with confidence.

"Well then, it's nice to meet you, Sofia Santos." Michael grins victoriously. "But I still love the old one. What are we going to do with that issue? Can I find her somewhere, maybe under your pillow? Where did you hide her?" He asked me mischievously. "She vanished so you need to deal with the new one," I tell him firmly, trying to be serious but failing miserably when I giggle. Michael pulls me on his lap and kisses me fiercely. "I love the old you and the new you. You never need to change for anyone jewel. You're perfect the way you are." He tells me with honesty.

"I know, the old me is still present, but I want a fresh start. I'm going to be stronger now because my life has a bright future in sight from now on. I'll erase the negativity and embrace only positive people from now on." I explain to him proudly. "Alright then. I'm happy for you and hope you still have a spot in that future of yours for me?" He asked me, a cheeky smile on his face. "That depends..." I inform him with a sly smile. "On what jewel?" He questioned me, gently squeezing my ass. "It depends on you," I tell him with mischief. "Is that so my naughty girl?" He roughly plunges his tongue inside my mouth, biting my lower lip once in a while. I want these moments to last forever. Wrapped around each other's bodies for hours. Enjoying his company to the fullest. I've to admit, in moments like these, I want more. I want his hands all over me. I want him to touch me where no other man ever touched me before. I had told him I'm still a virgin, and he sounded relieved back then, but now it feels more terrifying.

I know at some point I'm going to give myself to him. And that time has come. I feel a need to explore his body a little more, even my inexperience isn't giving me doubts. I skillfully caress his stomach. He was still wearing his shirt, but I felt his strong abdomen under my hand. Gently, I put my hand under his shirt and a small sigh escaped his mouth. Our mouths part for a moment and he looks at me. His eyes burned with fire.

I won't say it, I want to show it to him. Show him I love him, that I want him. My fingers explore his stomach, and feeling his naked body with my hand made me want to explore more from his body. Michael gently caresses a small piece of my belly. He shoves my shirt a little more up, trailing lines on my belly. This is so hot, it even feels like I'm on the verge of something I've never felt before.

My body tenses under his hands, and reacts to his touch. Wanting more from him, demanding more. I silently make my way to his belt and I unleash it. "What are you doing to me, baby," Michael murmurs seductively. "I don't know, but I want you," I tell him hastily.

Suddenly, mom knocks on the door. "Guys, dinner is ready." I almost jumped out of my skin. "Be there in a minute." I squeal a little too enthusiastically. We wait patiently until we hear mom descending the stairs. "That was close, luckily she knocks before barging into your room." Michael chuckles at my pale face. I've never done this before and I'm avoiding drama. Not that I think mom would react angrily, but it's uncomfortable knowing that they know what we were doing upstairs.

"Sofie, you didn't do it for me right, stroking me and all?" He questioned me seriously. "No, I want you, Michael," I respond earnestly. "Good, because I want you too." He answers playfully. "Let's go downstairs before your mom calls us again. Because then she'll get suspicious for sure." I tell him while entwining his fingers with mine. "I'll follow you everywhere, my princess." Michael chuckles, pulling me against him, and he kisses me one last time before we head off to my room.
