"NO! NO!" I sighed and stifled my laughter as my best friend scream from the other room. Ranboo had been streaming for only half an hour and hadn't stopped yelling. He said he wanted to do this spooky stream, but clearly, he wasn't having a great time.
"Oh my god, no!" I heard Ranboo yell. I rolled my eyes and got up to go in Ranboo's room. When I opened the door, he didn't seem to hear me, too invested in the game of Five Nights at Freddy's. He jumped in his chair suddenly, startled by the jumpscare. I put my hand over my mouth, trying not to laugh at my friend, but then, I got an idea.
He's gonna hate me after this, I thought. But what the hell? As Ranboo kept playing, I kept an eye on the donations that were rolling in and triggering scary noises. As I inched closer, his chat started typing "look behind", and I got nervous, stopping dead in my tracks. However, Ranboo only looked behind him in the game.
"Stop lying to me, chat!" he cried. "I'm already freaked out enough!" I giggled silently and kept getting closer, slowly but surely. I kept looking at the donations, waiting for 25 or 75. As Ranboo turned his screen's view to the side, a 25 donation came in, making him jump. Finally, I took my chance and started screaming at him from behind. Ranboo screamed too and yanked off his headphones to find me laughing.
"Y/N, what the heck!" he shouted, but I just kept laughing.
"You shoulda seen your face!" Ranboo shook his head and groaned.
"Dude, why do you do things like that?" I shrugged, trying not to laugh again.
"Hey, you were the one who wanted to get scared every twenty seconds for today's stream." Ranboo shook his head but laughed a little, hating to admit that I was right.
"I gotta admit, you got me good." I smiled proudly, but then Ranboo grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the chair next to his.
"Now, you get karma." I eyed him, confused, but then he started plugging in another set of headphones. My eyes went wide as the chat exploded.
"RANBOO, DONT YOU DARE"
