LMAO it's been a minute since I've fed you a Jack Manifold imagine. If anyone has watched his streams, Jack sometimes sings for chat, and OML it's gorgeous.

I used to be able to sing, but I can't anymore. Sad pog.

Third Person POV

Jack shut the door and hung his coat on the rack.

"Hi Jack!" Josh, his brother called from the living room.

"What's up, big man?" Jack said, giving his brother a high-five.

"Nothing much," Josh answered. "Oh, by the way, Y/N's in your room. Mum let her in." Jack laughed and shook his head.

"Of course she did." Jack's mom and his girlfriend always got along, so much to the point that she was practically one of the family. Once Jack went upstairs, he stopped in front of his door when he heard singing.

"You can't bribe the door on your way to the sky."

"You were pretty good down here, but you ain't really good."

"We never learn, we've been here before."

"Why are we always stuck and running from the bullets?"

"The bullets?"

"We never learn, we've been here before."

"Why are we always stuck and running from the bullets?"

"The bullets?"

"Just stop your crying, it's a sign of the times."

"We gotta get away from here, we gotta get away from here."

Jack smiled as his girlfriend kept singing, her light voice ringing through the air.

"Just stop your crying. It'll be alright,"  he sang along softly as the song kept playing and Y/N kept singing. Her voice sounded beautiful, but also sad. Plus, she only played this song when she was upset. Jack grabbed the door handle to his bedroom, and slowly opened it.

First Person POV

I sat in Jack's chair, knees to my chest. Today had been rough, and the lyrics of the song multiplied my feelings by ten. Once the chorus came in again, I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"Just stop your crying," I sang softly, a few stray tears falling down. As the song kept playing, I fiddled with the strings on my hoodie.

"Stop your crying, baby. It'll be alright," I heard a voice from the doorway, and when I turned the chair around, I saw Jack standing in the open doorway.

"Hey, Jack," I said softly. Jack smiled sadly at me, noticing the state I was in.

"Have a bad day?" he asked, and I nodded, turning away so he couldn't see my tears. He walked over and turned the chair around so I was facing him.

"You wanna talk about it?" I shook my head, Jack gently wiping away the tears.

"Sorry," I whispered. "I didn't feel like going back home right away."

"Don't worry about it," Jack said, kissing my forehead. "You sounded really good, by the way." I laughed softly, switching off the music.

"You know me, getting lost in my elite music taste." Jack chuckled and pulled me up from the chair. He sat down in it and stretched out his arms, letting me sit down on his lap. I slung my arms around his neck as he gently played with my hair, instantly calming me. He took my phone off of his desk and searched through my music. When the song started to play, I smiled as Jack and I both started singing along softly.

*playing Lights Up by Harry Styles*

"All the lights couldn't put out the dark"

"Running through my heart"

"Lights up and they know who you are."

"Know who you are, do you know who you are?

"Shine, step into the light,"

"Shine, so bright sometimes."

"I'm not ever going back."

"Shine, step into the light,"

"Shine, so bright sometimes."

"I'm not ever going back."

As we kept singing, I leaned my head against Jack's chest, suddenly tired after the rush of emotions.

"Can I stay here for the night?" I whispered. Jack looked at me, still stroking my hair.

"Of course you can," he answered softly. I smiled and slowly closed my eyes as Jack pressed a kiss on the top of my head and finished singing the song.

"Lights up and they know who you are."

"Know who you are, do you know who you are?"
