Part 4 Chapter 11 Aftermath

One day after King Hark was arrested,

With the news that the capital of Jin-Hark had fallen into the hands of the Myto Empire, the Principality of Qua Toyne and the Kingdom of Quila, and also King Hark had been captured by the Myto Empire, the entire Kingdom of Lauria was captured after the army of the Kingdom of Lauria surrendered. An emergency government of the Kingdom of Lauria was formed, led by nobles who had the highest rank and were not involved in war. The emergency government declared unconditional surrender to the three opposing countries of the Kingdom of Lauria. The armies of the three countries were then sent to help the Kingdom of Lauria get back on its feet.

For the time being, the armed forces of the Kingdom of Lauria were frozen, except for the wyvern troops that were used to carry out air patrols. All of the remaining troops were written down so that they could be used to make up the army of the new Kingdom of Lauria.

Admiral Ira's Office

Admiral Ira was reading a report on the results of the war with the Kingdom of Lauria. From the intelligence report on the war, it was possible to see the weaknesses of the military of the Principality of Qua Toyne and the Kingdom of Quila. Admiral Ira's military staff was compiling ways to overcome those weaknesses.

Suddenly, the door buzzer sounded, signaling that someone was asking for permission to enter.

"Please come in." said Admiral Ira.

The door to Admiral Ira's office opened, and Moff Trevat walked into the room.

"Good afternoon, Ira. Still busy?" asked Trevat.

"Good afternoon, I'm sorry I haven't seen you for a few days. The war with the Kingdom of Lauria has really taken up my time."

"That's okay, Ira. How did it go?" asked Trevat as he sat down on the seat in front of Admiral Ira's desk.

"The casualties on the Principality of Qua Toyne and Kingdom of Quila's sides were within our expectations, even lower. Roughly 6% of the deployed forces became casualties. But that means it's about 4% of their military personnel." Admiral Ira said.

"Hmm, that means the military operation was quite successful, huh?" said Trevat.

"Yes, thanks to the force, there were not many casualties. But frankly, I'm quite weary of troops that use magic. Its ability is a factor that is difficult to predict in the war in Elysia." Admiral Ira said.

"Well, I'm right, isn't it? That's why I asked Dr. Anen to research thoroughly and quickly about magic. Frankly speaking, I'm interested in using magic to create explosions. Can we use it to replace the plasma explosives we use now? I'm very curious whether the energy of the explosion exceeds the energy that should be there. If so, where does that energy come from?" Trevat said

"Hmmm, your explanation is a headache, Trevat. But it is important for us to research the application of magic in military devices." Admiral Ira said "How do you know and enjoy such technical things?"

"Hahaha, just personal enjoyment. We must be curious about the universe so that we can innovate and excel from others." Trevat said.

"Huh, apparently that's what caused Myto to create various new starship and fighter designs. You really think outside the box, Trevat." Admiral Ira said.
