Chapter one

"Come on guys let's go." Ophelia called out to her family. Rosalie groaned but got up anyways and headed out to the garage. "Jas, come on." He looked at her and closed his eyes.

"I don't want to." He breathed out. His wife ran over to him and attempted to drag him off the chair he was sitting in. "Let's. Go!" She continued to pull at him but he stayed in place. She sighed.

"I didn't want to do this." She looked him in the eyes. "You've left my with no choice." Lia called over Emmet who was the strongest out of them all.

"Hey! Not fair! At all!" He wiggled in his grasp after he picked him up, clawing at nothing. The vampire smiled at him and dropped him. "Let's go." The girl vampire said looking at her mate. He glared at his brother and wife but he ignored the annoyed feeling he had and followed after the woman.

Jasper got into his Jeep with Ophelia and Emmet with Rose and Alice along with her mate, Sabrina, in her own car. Edward doesn't like riding with the others so he drove his Volvo to school by himself.

"I hate first period" Lia complained. "Fe-fe, it's not that bad." Alice put her hand on her sister's shoulder. Alice looked for help from her adoptive brother. Jasper sighed and pat his mate's back.

"Come on love." He kissed her cheek before getting out of the car. Ophelia followed after him and hurried to his side to hold his cold hands.

"That was painful." Lia complained, walking out of their third period classroom with her husband. Jasper chuckled at his wife then kissed her hand. "All periods are painful, darlin' now let's go to lunch." She smiled as he gave her a kiss in the forehead.

As they walked in, they heard a girl, who Ophelia thought her name is Jessica, talking about them to the new kid. "They're Dr. and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids. They moved here down from Alaska like, a few years ago."

"They kinda keep to themselves."

Jessica looked over to her friend Angela. "Yeah, 'cause they're all together." She starts, looking back at the new girl "like together together."

Emmet looked over at their table for a second before glancing off somewhere else. Alice and Sabrina were in front of Jasper and Ophelia, both couples walking hand in hand.

"The blonde girl, that's Rosalie," Jess continued, Rose looking at her without the brunette noticing. "And the big dark haired guy Emmet, they're like a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal."

Ophelia rolled her eyes at the statement but she needed to help Jasper get through the break. His control over his thirst still wasn't the best.

"Jess, they're not actually related." Angela butted in.

"Yeah but they live together. It's weird!" The looked behind her to see the two pale couples walking next to each other. "Oh, ok. So the little dark-haired girl is Alice, she's really weird. She's dating the big girl, Sabrina."

Angela looked at her friend embarrassed. "You can't just say that! It comes out sounding rude, Jess." She scolded.

"Whatever. And the taller girl behind them is Ophelia, she actually related to Alice, like; by blood. Sometimes she gets these random seizures out of nowhere, it's really creepy. She's dating Jasper, the blond one who looks like he's in pain." The annoying teenager carried on.

Rose and Emmet sat down but they were interested in what the brunette was going on about. So they just continued to listen.

"Dr. Cullen is like this, 'foster dad slash match maker'"

"Maybe he'll adopt me." Angela swooned looking over to Jessica again. The new girl took a glance outside and asked, "who's he?"

Ophelia and her siblings were all sat down when they realized Edward wasn't there. She too looked outside and there he was walking painfully slow. He's the fastest out of all the Cullens yet he chose to walk slower than the others.

"That's Edward Cullen. Totally gorgeous. But apparently no one here is good enough for him. Like I care, you know?"

"She obviously does." Rose snickered to her adoptive siblings.
