Chapter twenty-six

Bella was breaking in her wedding shoes for about three days and she still scrapes them on the porch's floor.

"Um... you just have to break them in." Alice tried with an eyebrow perked up.

"I have been breaking them in." Bella spoke blankly. "For three days... can't j just go barefoot?"

Alice's eyes widened. "No! Absolutely not!"

"I'm just thinking it's a little much, you know?
The dress and the shoes and all of this." Bella said as she motioned towards the decorations and the venue.

"No, it's exactly enough." Alice reassured. "Tomorrow will be perfect."

Emmett asked, "Where do you want 'em boss?"  with a tree trunk in his hands.

"On either side of the aisle." Alice responded with a smile.

"What isle?" Rosalie asked form behind him.

"Does no one have vision?!" Alice screeched before making her way down the steps to help them.

It was the day of the wedding and everything was set up. Now the girls just had to get dressed. Rose walked in.

"Do you need help?" She asked. "I could do her hair."

Alice and Bella looked at her puzzled. Rosalie rolled her eyes. "Please, I don't hate you because of your choice of groom."

"Just my lack of respect for my human life?" Bella asked sarcastically.

Rosalie smiled at this. "Essentially."

After their little moment, Renee, Bella's mother, walked in and gasped.

"Oh, my gosh! You're so beautiful. Oh, honey. Crap! My mascara." Renee touched her eyelashes. Alice whipped out a handkerchief and handed it to Renee. "Thanks. Charlie, get in here."

"You sure? I don't wanna..." he said as he was walking in. The girls giggled when they saw him. "I know. I look hot."

They started laughing.

Charlie pulled out a present from behind his back. "We thought you needed something blue."

He held it out and opened it to reveal a beautiful hair comb with sapphire stones imbedded in them.

Charlie continued, "And something old. Besides your mother."

Bella's mother scoffed. "Nice."

"It was grandma Swans."

"We added the sapphires."

Though Rose was doing her hair she waited until Bella gave her the comb to situate it in her hair. "It's beautiful, you guys. Wow. Thank you so much."

"It's your first family heirloom. Pass on to your daughter, and her daughter." Renee teared as she said this.

"Mom. I love it." Bella got up from her seat to go hug her parents but Alice stepped between them.

"No- smudging my masterpiece."

Renee and Bella giggled while Ophelia and Rosalie rolled their eyes. Charlie sat there not knowing what to say or do.

"Well," Ophelia started. "who wants to see the dress?"

Renee jumped. "I want to see it!"

The next chapter will have the bride's maid dress. But these are what she wore in the beginning of the chapter and the second part.
