fair warning, this is the first story I ever wrote so it's kinda bad �...
Bella didn't make it. If Ophelia could cry, she would be. Rosalie was sat by the fireplace holding the newborn baby in her cold arms on a rocking chair. Rose cooed at the baby and beside her was Ophelia who was smiling at the baby girl.
Ophelia heard footsteps and the scent of a wet dog. It was Jacob. She didn't have the patience at the moment to deal with him so she ignored him.
"Alice! Lia! Jasper!" Edward suddenly called. Ophelia stepped away from Rosalie and around Jacob's kneeling body.
When she had gone out, the four looked at the wolves that appeared from the woods. There were so many of them, they were very outnumbered.
"We're out numbered." Jasper growled.
"Really, couldn't tell?" Ophelia sassed at the same time Alice agreed, "by a lot."
"I won't let them hurt my family." Edward said, with determination. The four vampires charged at the wolves full force.
One lunged at her, only for Sabrina to appear and tackle it to the ground away from her sister in law. She then punched the other wolf in the face before taking hold of its mouth l, shutting it, and throwing it away from her. When she heard Alice's screams her eyes got dark and she went to attack, but Leah to beat her to it and started fighting with the other wolf.
The back door opened again. Carlisle, Esme, and Emmett all joined the group to fight the wolves with them.
A few more wolves ran over but so had Jacob. "Stop! It's over!" He shouted, making Sam growl angrily at him. "If you kill her, you kill me." He continued.
Sam went to attack, sending Jacob backwards then transformed to his wolf form. Slowly, he walked over to the pack, his paws crushing sticks on the forest floor. The two alphas growled and sneered at each other.
Edward read his mind, "Jacob imprinted. They can't hurt her. Whoever a wolf imprints on can't be harmed. It's their most absolute law."
Ophelia panted our a breath and leaned on Jasper. The vampire family watched as the pack retreated into the woods.
