Part 34 Treat
Khushi was in the kitchen and was so absorbed in the work that she didn't even notice a man approaching her until he spoke.
"In which world you are dancing for a duet song with Arnav?" Suman teased.
Khushi looked at him and Suman found her restless.
"Anything wrong?" he asked.
Khushi nodded yes.
"I have done a biggest blunter, Sumi," she said agitated.
"What are you talking about, Khushi?"
"I have declared my love for Arnav in public," She said biting her nail nervously.
Suman gazed at her for a while and chuckled unbelievably.
"How did that good thing happen all of a sudden?"
"Sheetal got to know about my relationship with Arnav. She came to school and insulted me, connecting me with Arnav... I lashed her left to right" she sighed.
"You should feel good for doing such a thing, Khushi..."
"I don't know from where I got courage..."
"Thank God, you got the courage"
"Don't know what Arnav thinks of me"
"He would be flying in an alien world..." he chuckled.
"Sheetal is damn angry with me. She said that straight to me"
"She would be... by the way, what was the other's reaction?"
"They were shocked... and, the truth about you also revealed..." Khushi said hesitating.
Suman got stuck for a few seconds and huffed.
"Finally..."
"Are you upset with me?"
"No... I'm feeling revealed. From here on, I don't have to hide myself... I have to face the reality of my life... no compulsion... no conditions..." Suman said feeling relieved.
"But, you have to face the terrible world, Sumi"
"Let me face it... as Arnav said..."
Khushi sighed.
"I don't know where will this lead us"
"It will lead us to our destination" Suman smiled.
Khushi shook her head from left to right.
"Let me prepare dinner" Khushi walked to the kitchen.
Suman stopped her.
"Wait, Khushi"
"Whaaat?"
"Let's have dinner outside today"
"Outside? But why?"
"We are going to celebrate your declaration..."
"Whaaaat?"
"Yes, don't you want to celebrate it?"
Khushi looked at him, making a face.
"Relax, baby..."
"Feel the seriousness Sumi... Sheetal is a dangerous woman... she won't mind doing anything to stop our marriage"
"Oh... so you are worrying about your marriage....?" He teased.
Khushi glared at him.
"It's not wrong if you are worried about your marriage. After all, he is your Arnav and you guys missed each other for more than five years..."
