Chapter 35: Molcow

"The wind is so cold." rinig kong sambit ni Kura sa gilid ko.

"The city of Molcow is located in the southern border between our empire and Ravenholm." Kazuki informed us.

Agad niya namang nakuha ang atensiyon ko. "Ravenholm?" bulong ko sa aking sarili.

Tila narinig naman ito nilang lahat, "Yes. Other than that.. Molcow is a dangerous city. I've been there for just an hour but all of my money got stolen." biglang ani ni Fana.

"You can't locate them?" kunot-noong tanong ko.

"Of course I can! It's just that.. I've a mission, and looking for money is just a waste of time." deritso niyang sagot.

Napa-iwas ako ng tingin. Of course, money is just a thing to them.

"Why is it called freedom city?"

The same as I, Kura didn't know anything about the city except for the three of them.

"As what I remembered, those people living in Molcow lived an independent life, without the help of the Capital and the Sentinel. They built their own city, they have their own source of food and water, and they have their own leader. In short, they have their own freedom."

Patago akong napasinghap. That was something I've never expected. A city that built their own necessities and freedom.

"In that sense, can we even enter their city?" tanong ko.

Tumango si Fuma sa akin. "In order to sustain their needs and necessities they need money. That is why.. they allow people to enter their city and sell their crops in a lower price.

That was really interesting.

Ngunit nalipat ang tingin ko kay Fana, I cleared my throat. "The capital acknowledged them? Their city?"

Tumingin ito sa akin at walang-ganang napatango. "They still part of the empire. We can't do anything about it." tanging sagot niya.

"Wow! That was really interesting." Kura exclaimed.

"My father told me." nakangiti niyang sagot.

"Oka---"

"It is.. snowing!" Kura gasped.

Napaawang ang bibig ko. I never see a snow nor I never feel it. The soft solid touch of snow instantly became water after it came into contact with my warm hands. Patago akong napangiti, the tiny flakes drifting down from above is to beautiful.
