He stands up.

“Where're you going?” I ask him.

“To bring us some food.” he says.

I am afraid that he might not come back but no I trust him more than that.

After half an hour, he comes with two boxes in his hands.

“Yumy.” I say. I can smile the food from here.

“It's sea food. Do you like sea food?” he asks me, anxiously.

“I do. Actually very much.” I smile and look at the sea again. There's still no signal.

“Great. I was so worried that you don't.” he tears his box open and hands me a fork.

“Very good.” I say, chewing a shrimp.

“Yeah.” he agrees.

“When do you think they'll come?” I ask.

“Who?” he stops eating for a second and then continues.

“Mom and dad, who else?” I roll my eyes.

“Excuse my stupidity, I didn't sleep well.” he rolls his eyes too.

I can't help but giggle.

“Okay, I can handle it.” I tease I'm sorry for waking you anyway.”

“Back to your question, I guess they are coming today since the men here said that.” he shrugs.

“Do you have an explanation to what happened?”

“You mean about what?” he puts his fork to his mouth and looks at me.

“I mean about why they didn't arrive with us. I'm afraid they landed somewhere else.” I say.

“Well, I won't say it's normal because it's not but we can't do anything other than waiting for them here.” he says and I sigh. I know he's right and I begin to feel more anxious.

“You're right.” I breathe and press my lips in a hard line.

“But don't worry. You'll find them.” he rubs my back with his other hand and I nod.

Two hours passed almost in science with no sign of a ship. I grow more disappointed every minute passes.

“You can leave.” I break the science when he looked at his watch.

“You wanna leave?” he turns to me.

“I'm saying you can leave. I'm staying.”

“I'm staying too.” he shrugs.

I nod. I feel more safe now since I know he will stay for more here with me. I sure don't wanna stay here alone.

“Thank you.” I realize that I should thank him.

“You're welcome.” he mutters without looking at me.

He could be a good guy although he's sometimes a jerk but he's still chivalrous and gentle for staying here with me and even coming. I just feel sometimes unsafe with him not because he may be watched but because he lied/lies to me.
Sleepiness gets over me.

“Twi.” I hear someone calling my name but I can't figure out who.

“Twi....Twyla.” I hear my name again and I open my eyes. It's Kyle.

“What?” I panic. It's evening now.

“We see a ship over there.” he points to the sea and I immediately stand up.
