***A few hours before the movie - Kaye's POV***

When Shan seemed to be busy, I sneaked to Ace's office.

"There's a door for a reason. To knock before you enter." He complained

But I didn't answer and sat in front of him.

" What is your plan exactly? Spill it." I asked quietly

" I just talked to Charlie and she's down with it.  Are we cool? " he said and moved his chair a little

"You didn't even give any details other than to show up at 8pm." Not exactly complaining. I'm more of panicking.

"Charlie will leave the ticket on the ticket counter in case she can't meet you. All you got to do is show up. And maybe not mess it up. I don't understand you. What are you waiting for anyway? " he said and sighed heavily

"For her to see me." I explained

Ace looked confused, put his elbows on the table and suddenly held my face on both sides of my face.

" Hey!" I almost shouted

"I'm making a point. I can see you." He emphasized

"No, that's not what I mean. I want her to really see me." I rested my forehead on the table as I said that

"Seriously kid. I don't get you. If you wanted her to really see you, then make her. Show her. If she can't, then, move on." He said firmly

"That's all? Is it that easy to move on?"  I asked, still with my head down

" No. It is easier than to keep pretending." He explained .

After work, Charlie picked up Shan and I had to pass by my Aunt's office first. She said she had an urgent matter to discuss. Not that everything else is urgent for her, but it's not a usual thing for me to meet her at work.

When I entered the building, she was standing by the lobby, holding a cup of coffee. When she looked up, smiled and handed me over the cup that was on her hand.

"Let's sit on the corner. I really wanted to take you out for dinner but I have some deadlines." She offered

"It's okay. I'll meet up with Shan. Movie. Food." I said, trying to lighten her mood

She sat down, smiled for a moment but looked a bit concerned.

" Oh,. A date?" She looked concerned as she said it

"No"  I disagreed.

"Movie.  Food.  That is usually entailed as a date." She explained

"Well, you can probably consider it a date, only if she knows that it's a date. She doesn't even know she is meeting me. Some kind of a weird blind date." I said as I took a sip of the coffee she handed to me.

I was waiting for my Aunt to, I don't know, be more excited than she looks right now. She seems like she wants to tell me something but at the same time holding  back.

" Is there a problem?" I asked

She sighed and stood up again. She started pacing back and forth slowly.

"After you auditioned  before and failed, you stopped and took some time off here, right?" She said

I placed the coffee on the floor because the coffee table was far and stood up.
