Twilight | Renesmee And Jacob || Something Good

Chapter 5:

I wake up to light streaming through my windows and I get up to open the curtains.

I shower, get dressed and walk downstairs to eat some breakfast. Eventually all the Cullens have left until it's just me, Emmett and Alice.

"Can I go?" I beg. Alice looks at me strangely.

"Go where?" She asks, suspicious.

I glare at Emmett.

"I.. Ugh.. Sorta said she could go see Jacob." Emmett admits.

"Alice, please! I need to talk to him!"

She raises her eyebrows in suspicion.

"I'll be back before the others even realise I've left!"

"Its dangerous Ness! "

"I know he won't hurt me" I pout at her.

"Fine! But be back within a few hours"

I jump up in delight and pull on my shoes and run out the door before she can change her mind.

It takes me about 5 minutes to reach La Push. Jacob runs out to meet me as soon as he sees me. He pulls me into a hug and I grin.

"You escaped" He observes.

"Yes, I did"

"Come on" He takes my hand and we walk inside, to his room.

There are posters on the walls of rugby teams and other boyish things. I sit down on his bed.

"Jacob, I want to keep the baby."

He looks up at me.

"You do?" He sounds a little hurt.

"I just don't know if I'm ready. But I don't want to kill it... "

He sits down next to me.

"Renesmee, you can choose anything and I'll back you up. Just don't rush into this if it's not what you want. If you're not ready now, then we can try later."

"I want to have it. But say its yours."

"You mean lie to everyone?"

I nod.

"Alright. But, I'll need to ask your parents permission to... You know... as they're angry enough with me..."

I giggle at how uncomfortable I've made him.

"Come back with me. Please?"

He nods and I kiss him softly.

"We don't have to pretend all of this..." I whisper and I feel him smile then pull away.

"Possibly." He says as we walk back to the house.
