"Two tickets please for A Nightmare on Elms Street" Billy said to the guy in the booth. He gave us the tickets as Billy slipped him the money.

We walked in to see a bunch of other people from school. Billy exchanging a few Hi's here and there as we got on the line for the concession stand.

"I'll buy the snacks" I said as we got up to the counter. I got us a large popcorn and two sodas. We walked into the theater picking a seats in the back row.

"If you get scared we can leave" Billy teased with a laugh. I hit his arm. Half way through the movie Billy slide his arm over my shoulders, I nestled my head onto him.

When the movie was done every stood up and began to exit the theater.

"You didn't even jump once?" Billy questioned

"I never said I didn't like horror movies" I replied. "I had a great time tonight" I said tucking the strands of my hair behind my ear.

Billy smiled lighting a cigarette as we walked outside. We hopped in the car and drove off. Billy being a true gentleman tonight parked his car in the driveway and walked me to my front door.

"See you tomorrow. Goodnight Billy" I said unlocking the door. I felt a hand touch my shoulder making me turn around.

I looked up to see Billy looking nervous as hell. He quickly pecked my lips before pulling away. I smiled before opening the door and walking inside.

"Drive you to school tomorrow?" Billy asked. I shook my head before closing the door. I leaned against it falling to the floor and biting my lip. How was I falling for Billy Hargrove and this fast.

The next morning I rolled out of bed, yawning and stretching before making my way over to the bathroom. Pleased with how my hair looked a ran a comb through it once before curling it.

I then applied some light makeup before heading back to my room. I shuffled some clothes around in the closet but wasn't pleased with anything on the hangers. I looked to my left remembering the skirt Nancy had picked out for me.

I grabbed a pair of black tights and a cropped turtleneck sweater. I quickly got dressed before running downstairs to grab some breakfast.

I rummaged through the fridge finding some left overs and some rotten pieces of fruit. I quickly looked through the freezer seeing the box of eggos. I made three waffles and darted out the door.

"Morning Max, waffle?" I asked handing her one. She shook her head and took a bite. Billy comes out looking pissed off, puffing on his cigarette.

"I made you a waffle if you want it" I softly said as we hopped in the car. He gave me a weak smile, I could see the black and blue colors forming on his neck, along with his eye looking slightly swollen. I know better than to question Billy on what happened as he was still heated about it.

We parked and Max skated off towards the middle school. Billy got out taking one last smoke of the cigarette before throwing it on the ground.

"C'mon" Billy said waving his hand and wrapping it around my shoulder. We walked into school together and I was once again "Billy's girl" expect this time it was for real.

As we rounded the corner Billy saw Ethan. After already being heated from what occurred this morning with Neil, Billy's rage was amplified at the sight of him.

"Hargrove's girl wasn't even that good" Ethan snickered to his friends as we walked by. Billy stopped in his tracks. His arm unwrapped from my shoulder and he cracked his knuckles.

"What'd you say?" Billy asked. Ethan being him cocky self repeated it again. Billy lunged at Ethan pushing him to the ground.

"You tell the whole school you were lying, and that you took advantage of her or else your dead" Billy threatened, his fist raised, ready to punch.

"Okay, okay, okay I lied" Ethan nervously babbled as he squinted his eyes fearing what was to come.

"Billy c'mon his' not worth it" I said gently tapping his shoulder. He got off the floor and walked away. I grabbed Billy's hand dragging him to my locker.

"I'm proud of you, not beating him to a pulp" I mentioned as I grabbed my books.

"I should of...what he did to you was disgusting" Billy hissed looking behind him at Ethan.

"I don't need you to go beating people up, I just need you saving me" I said with a smile while closing the locker. He placed his finger under my chin before kissing me.

I broke the kiss off after a minute needing both air and time to get to class.

"I'll see you in science?" I asked.

"I guess, anything for you" Billy sighed.

Science came and I saw Billy strolling into class a few minutes late.

"Hey" I whispered

"Hey" Billy replied back giving me a kiss. The teacher coughed a little and we broke apart.

"Mr.Hargrove I appreciate your attendance today but maybe we can study what's up on the board here instead of what's next to you" The teacher sassed before resuming the lesson.

After science Billy and I decided gym classes wasn't all that important today and decided to ditch school during lunch.

"So what's California like?" I asked Billy as we walked to his car.

"Ahh, you know like, sunny with beaches for miles" Billy said. I could sense California was a sensitive topic for him.

"I've uh never been to the beach before, my mom and I always dreamed about it" I said looking down at the ground.

"What was your mom like?" Billy asked opening the passenger door for me. I sat down placing my books in the back. He quickly walked around to the driver sliding in.

"I wanna show you something. Go to my house" I said. Billy lit his cigarette before driving off.
