I looked towards him and clenched my jaw.
He hadn't noticed me though and kept talking to the person next to him.
He's just using her.
I thought to inform Melissa about it but I planned not to. (don't even ask me why)
No, I'm not jealous at all but I'm just worried about her..she doesn't deserve to be used.
On my way, I met Alex, my best friend.
Oh, I'm sorry I didn't tell you about him. We've been friends since the day I joined the school.
"Hey man, why aren't you going? Our school day's over" he lightly hit my shoulder.
"Oh yeah, let's go" I mumbled.
"Btw, do you have some news?" he nudged my shoulder.
"W-what news?"
"Melissa likes you, you know that right?" he smirked.
"Wait what? Are you serious?" my eyes widened.
"Yeah, don't act you don't like her back"

I've agreed to go on a date with him but I don't really know what's gonna happen. I mean I've only known him as that flirty guy who everyone has a crush on. I'm a pretty sincere, non-romantic type girl I guess so I have no idea how he would've fallen for me.

Katie suddenly cut me off from my flow of thoughts.
"Hey, lost in your own world?" she chuckled.
"No no, lol. Just thinking about something" I smiled.
"I bet you're thinking about Aiden, huh? Too excited for the date, I guess" she nudged my shoulder.
"Eh, it's not like that at all"
"Sure, sure" she smirked.

As usual, Katie and I walked out of our class and just talked.
While I talked with her, I saw Jason from far and started waving toward us.
He waved back and I smiled.
"Seems like your love's back" she teased me.

"Hey guys, what's up— Oh wait, Melissa's date right? It's today, I suppose—" he exclaimed nervously.
"Yes, it's today, right Melissa?" Aiden suddenly came and put his arm around my shoulders.
I felt slightly uncomfortable but nodded in response.
"Let's go then" he removed his arm from my shoulders and tried to hold my hand.
I looked towards him and he flirtily winked at me.
