CHAPTER 11

I ignored it and slipped my hand away from his hand's grip.

He realized it and kind of got shocked but pretended to be fine with it.

"So, do you like me now?" he smirked.

"Well, no actually but I'm just going on this 'date' of ours for a day. And that's because I'm doing it for Katie." I faked a smile.

He scoffed.

"I'm sure you'll thank Katie later!" he licked his lips.

"We'll see about that" I looked away from him.

"Um, btw, I really do like you" he smiled 'innocently'.

"Alright, I have no problem at all. People generate feelings for others and it's normal" I shrugged my shoulders.

"So will you date me?" he looked towards me with flirty eyes.

He came a bit closer to me and I went back.

"N-no, I don't want to" I stuttered.

He began walking towards me as I kept on stepping back.

"Are you sure?" 

"Y-yeah.." I gulped.

Suddenly, my back hit the wall.

My eyes tried to avoid contact with his as he came closer and closer to me.

"Everybody has a crush on me, why don't you? Am I not your type?" he smirked.

He kept both his hands on the wall next to me.

"I-I just don't like you in that way. S-stop forcing me" I turned my head away and lifted my hands as a defense as his head came closer to me.

"You've never been kissed either, at least a kiss? If not a date? Hmm?" he chuckled flirtily. 

I closed my eyes.

"N-no plea—" I got cut off and felt my waist being grabbed and my back spacing away from the wall.

Within a second, I felt my back softly hit the wall again.

I started breathing heavily.

I slowly opened my eyes and felt someone's lips smash on mine.

My eyes widened and my heart started racing. 

I noticed someone very familiar in front of my eyes.

It. was. Jason.

He kept giving small pecks on my lips as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

I started to blush and was so thankful for this moment. (hehe)

I closed my eyes and enjoyed it.

Then, I felt him pull away from the kiss.

I opened my eyes and saw him looking towards me. 

I gulped and couldn't believe what had happened just now.

He slid his arm away from my waist and stepped a bit away from me. I stepped slightly ahead too.

He looked at me with nervousness, then looked down and bit his lower lip. 

I smiled and looked around. I realized how many people were looking at us and murmuring with each other continuously. 

He cleared his throat and rubbed his nape.

"Uh guys, please-please go.. mind your business please" he pleaded in embarrassment.

The others giggled and started cheering "Melisson" repeatedly.

We both felt embarrassed.

"I told you, they're dating. They're neighbors after all"

"Omg, are they dating already? I guess the rumors were true"

"They do make a good couple though"

The people kept on gossiping and teasing us. 

"Guys please stop it, t-they're not dating" I heard Aiden shout at them.

"Wait, I guess you're jealous" someone from the crowd shouted back.

He clenched his jaw, looked at us both with anger, and walked away.

"Ja—" I got cut off.

"Um, I have to go, bye!" he went away without looking towards me before I could've said anything.

I just couldn't believe it...
