Siddharth woke up the next morning, snuggled into a pillow and covered with a blanket. To a person who didn't know Siddharth, there was nothing unusual about the start of the day but it was all sorts of new. Waking up wrapped in a blanket was, to say the least, not usual for the youngest Shukla. It made him smile and shift, just slightly. A soft moan escaped his throat.

He was a fussy sleeper, moved too much in his sleep and thus ended up tangled in his own blankets by the crack of dawn.

Today, he wasn't exactly tangled-- and he knew exactly who to thank for that!

She was willingly getting into a mess! He almost felt bad for his Superstar. But then, She was HIS SUPERSTAR!! and he was never going to let go of her. She's going to be fine. It wasn't easy, but she was Shehnaaz Gill. She was a superhero.

"Good morning." Siddharth heard a soft voice, accompanied by a thud of what he assumed was a tray being kept on his bedside table. Siddharth pulled his comforter around him and snuggled into the pillow. "Uth jaayein Siddharth."

Siddharth smiled into the pillow, not moving or making a sound. He didn't want to miss out on this opportunity. Shehnaaz was there, waking him up on a lazy sunday.

This was heaven.

He felt the bed dip slightly as Shehnaaz sat next to him. She combed her fingers through his hair, cooing gently at him. "Siddharth.."

Siddharth felt peace settle in his heart, his eyes closed on their own accord as he lay motionless, enjoying what was arguably the best morning of his life. "Wake up Mi Vida."

Siddharth moved closer to her, without even realizing that he was doing so. She was magic, and he was drawn to her like a moth is drawn to light. Shehnaaz continued to run her fingers through his morning curls, welcoming him into her proximity.

"Good morning jaan.." She mumbled quietly, bending slightly to place her lips on the side of his head.

"Good morning Superstar." He answered groggily, peeling an eye open to see her.

First thing in the morning.

It was going to be a very good day.

Shehnaaz smiled, and that's when she found herself encaged in a pair of strong, manly arms.

"Siddharth.." A surprised giggle escaped her lips as the aforementioned man pulled her flush against his chest and placed his lips very gently on hers.

"She'naaz.." He mumbled against her lips. "You're so beautiful."

Shehnaaz felt his hold tighten on her frame as he pulled her lower lip between his own. "Perfect.. morning."

Minutes later, Siddharth pulled away from the kiss, holding a red-faced and panting Shehnaaz in a protective hug.

"Thank you for coming to wake me up. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the day." Siddharth confessed to her.

Shehnaaz kissed his chest, the spot where she was nestled safely in his embrace.

"I brought you pancakes." She told him. "Go freshen up."

Siddharth grinned like a child, his eyes lighting up. "Pancakes?"

Shehnaaz nodded. "Of course. Go and freshen up quickly. They're gonna get too cold, considering.. they're already cold."

Siddharth pouted. Shehnaaz smiled. "It's fine, they're not ruined. But you need to run!!"

Siddharth nodded, getting out of bed and into the bathroom, leaving a fond smile on Shehnaaz's face.
