Sidharth couldn't stop the grin that formed on his face as he saw his little ball of energy hopping and giggling, warm and adorable in a thick fur coat. He tiptoed close to her and grabbed her hand, entwining his fingers through hers.

Shehnaaz looked at him with the biggest smile on her face, her face literally shining with barely held back excitement and Sidharth felt his heart melt.

His whole family was there, his niece and nephews were there and they looked absolutely adorable too, but somehow, his eyes never left her. It was as if, in that one moment everything else in the world had stopped existing.

Everything except her, his fairy princess.

Sidharth breathed out, softly and then in again with a slight tremor of emotions. "Baby.."

Shehnaaz froze in her track, her eyes widened slightly. "Hey, baby."

"You look beautiful." Sidharth whispered, pulling her closer to himself. His breath tickled her face, she stood breathless, dazed and so adorable. "So pretty.."

Shehnaaz smiled, almost surprised at the affect his proximity had on her, even after months, and months and months of living together.

She wanted to hide, away from the world, somewhere nothing could interrupt with their little moments, their beautiful impromptu confessions.

It was as if Sidharth could practically read her mind, for he reached out to her and pulled her into his arms. "Mine. Only my snow white." He said softly, shoving his face in the crook of her neck

Shehnaaz giggled, her hands threading instinctively into his hair. Sidharth snuggled closer, inhaling the intoxication that her scent was to his senses.

The snow crunched under their feet as they walked forth. Everyone was thoroughly covered in cold weather clothes. The whole family was busy giggling & shouting, throwing snowballs at each-other, making snow angels, or just sitting on top of the fresh snow, watching the others.

Shehnaaz was the best of the lot, her giggles, her excited exclaimations, her literal shouts resonated around them, giving life to everyone and anyone present there. Maa was watching her family, happily from a distance, her eyes lit up with mirth and affection.

Preeti wrapped her arms around her mother's shoulder and rested her head against hers. "Tu unke saath kyon nahi hai?"

Preeti shrugged. "Kitne acche lag rahe hain na sab? Masti karte hue, khelte kudte huve." She said, wonder and love shining in her eyes.

Maa nodded. "Baith yahan, baat kar mujhse."

Preeti moved from behind her mother and sat next to her, on a bench tucked under one of the trees. Maa took preeti's hand in hers and smiled.

"Tere papa hote toh kitna khush hote na? Apne sab bacchon ki life mein khushi, sukoon dekh kar." Maa said, smiling fondly, as if to a distant memory. "Sab bacchon ki life saheen track pe hai, finally."

Preeti nodded. "Yaad aati hai na aapko unki?"

"Bahut.." Maa confessed, sighing softly.

"Jaldi chale gaye.." Preeti agreed, quietly.
