Chapter Sixty Three

Sidharth sighed, resting his head against the car's steering wheel. "Get in." He called out. "Right now."

"Why are you acting so grumpy? We're going for a vacation, not for someone's funeral." Shehnaaz said playfully.

Sidharth scowled. "I'm not talking to you. Meri value dinn pe dinn kam hoti jaa rahi hai tumhaare liye. We are getting late. Get in the car so we can leave for the airport."

Shehnaaz giggled, cooing at him. "You know I love you." She said softly.

Sidharth pouted. Shehnaaz smiled at him affectionately and got into the front passenger's seat. She took his hand and placed it on the gear shift, carefully. Sidharth looked at her, waiting for her next set of actions.

"Are you upset with your little bird?" She asked innocently. "What did I do?"

"You ignored me the whole day. I missed you." He responded in such an adorable baby-like voice that Shehnaaz couldn't help but coo at him again. She threaded her fingers delicately through his and his hand to her lips. "I'm sorry Mi Vida. I was excited for the trip, that's all. Toh saara energy udhar lagg gaya."

Sidharth began to smile and leaned forward to kiss the side of her head. "It's okay. We are going for a vacation, not for someone's funeral."

Shehnaaz chuckled.

"Should we leave now?" He asked softly.

"It's not late Sidharth." Shehnaaz clicked her tongue. "Let everyone come, We'll all go together."

Sidharth huffed.

Shehnaaz sighed. "Sidharth, everyone has to go to the exact same place. It's only fair." She explained. "There's no need for everyone to take their own vehicles."

"Are you of the opinion that our huge family will be able to travel in this car? This is an 8-seater granted, but there are--"

"Don't count them." Shehnaaz interjected abruptly. "Nazar lagti hai Sidharth."

Sidharth smiled at her. "Okay. I'm not counting. But the fact is we can't all travel together. Kashmir jaake bhi hum log 3 gaadi mein honge."

Shehnaaz nodded. "Tu apni team ke saath jaayega?"

Sidharth smiled at her. "Nahi meri jaan, team, cast, crew sab kal pahunch rahe hai. Mein tum sab logo ke saath aj raat ko pahunch raha hoon. Raghav mil raha hai humein airport pe. He's part of the project too." He informed her.

"He'll come with us?" Shehnaaz asked cheerfully.

"Dekh toh kaise khil gayi ek dum se.." Sidharth chuckled. "He's going to come with us, yes. He's not staying the week though. He'll go back a day after the rest of the team."

"It's gonna be a good week." Shehnaaz said to herself. "Yes indeed." Sidharth responded.

"Hello Pikachu!" Raghav exclaimed, hugging her tightly, almost pulling her off her feet. Shehnaaz wrapped her arms around Raghav's neck to balance herself, giggling uncontrollably.
