The night had fallen by the time Shehnaaz and Sidharth reached the Mumbai Airport, Sidharth threaded his fingers through his wife's and smiled at her.

“Welcome Home, little bird.”

Shehnaaz squeezed his hand, leaning only slightly in her husband’s direction and smiled back at him. Sidharth had never called the media on his own, in his life but they still seemed to find him, and lately Shehnaaz, all on their own, even from the end of the world. Of course, they'd find the couple here. The media was going to go berserk, Shehnaaz and Sidharth knew that, but they had after all chosen this life. A life of spotlight and they were perfectly happy living it. Especially when they had each-other. Sidharth smiled at her and pulled her closer to himself as they walked out of the airport to interact and be greeted by the media.

The camera flashed blindingly into their faces, the reporters crowded around them, congratulating the couple on their nuptials, screaming for them to pose in a certain direction and a certain way for their cameras.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz smiled at them, “Ghar toh pahunch jaane do, pictures mai kya rakha hai”

“Humaara toh kaam hai sir.” One of the reporters exclaimed. “Aap dono bahot acche lag rahe ho.”

“Maska laga raha hai?” Sidharth raised his eyebrow at the reporter and wrapped his arm around Shehnaaz’s shoulder.

A soft hoot went up the air, causing Shehnaaz to roll her eyes at her very overdramatic husband. Sidharth grinned at the cameras before he led Shehnaaz safely through the  hoard of reporters, while the reporters continued to capture every second and click blindly. “We’ll see you next week. Everyone will get their invites by thursday. Sab aa jaana, and you’ll get your fill of the photographs.”

The assembled reporters mumbled their thanks to the couple while they made their way towards Sidharth’s BMW parked by the main entrance. In the driver’s seat, Adith grinned at Sidharth and Shehnaaz as he unlocked the rear doors. Mehul rushed up to the couple, shoving through the reporters and opened the door for the couple.

“Welcome home.” He exclaimed

“Itna toh hum khud kar lete.” Sidharth chuckled. Mehul shrugged “Enjoy kar na.”

Sidharth shrugged right back at him, getting into the car with his wife. Mehul shut the door behind them and walked over to the passenger’s side to get in.

The media, hyper as ever, clicked frantically, trying to capture every last second of their departure. Sidharth leaned forward in the seat, “Kisne bulaaya inn log ko?”

“Shaam se khade hain. Baaki sab bhi spot huve the, but we got them out safely. Adith tha, Kaushal bhi tha--” Mehul explained calmly.

Sidharth nodded.

“The ceremony was magical. I got pictures from Ken.” Adith said softly. “Princess, you looked very beautiful.”

“Thank you, Adith bhai.” Shehnaaz chirped.

As expected, SidNaaz were greeted by the media the second they reached home. Sidharth almost groaned, Not here.

Mehul took the cue and getured for the couple to stay while he talked to the media people. Shehnaaz rubbed the back of Sidharth’s hand and smiled at him.

“Ghar aa gaye baby.” She whispered happily and her smile cheered Sidharth up, significantly.

After a lengthy ten minutes of back and forth explanation, Mehul succeeded in getting the reporters to leave. Finally, Sidharth and Shehnaaz got out of the car. Sidharth wrapped his arm around Shehnaaz and led her towards the entrance of their building.
