Chapter Thirty Six

Shehnaaz glared at Siddharth, her eyes wide and a cute little pout adorning her face. Siddharth grinned. "Bahot cute lag rahi hai baby." He said, his eyes twinkling with mischief. 

"Jijuuuuu… Siddharth pareshan kar raha hai!" She whined, attracting the attention of both Rajveer and Aarav. They turned to look at Shenaaz and ended up chuckling at Shehnaaz's expression.

"Siddharth--" Aarav looked at him sternly. "Kya bigaada hai humari bacchi ne tera? Kyon pada hai uske peeche?"

"Jiju kitni pyaari lag rahi hai, dekho toh sahi." Siddharth chuckled. 

Shehnaaz pouted, rubbing the Ice-Cream off her nose. "Mein nahi kar rahi Siddharth se baat." She said firmly and turned towards both the Jijus.

"Aaja, chod Siddharth ko. Hum woh water slide pe jaate hain." Aarav jiju said, wrapping his arm around Shehnaaz's shoulder and led her towards the ride he had promised. 

It was just a couple hours after lunch, the whole Shukla family was at the amusement park enjoying their rare day off and trying to unwind. Siddharth was in a very cheerful mood, teasing and playing throughout the time that they had been here and was now, running after his little bird who had left with both of his brother-in-laws to the water slide. 

"Arrey.. Shehnaaz--" Siddharth shouted, laughing  at his baby's irritated expression. "Rukk ja!" 

He ran up to her and pulled her away from Aarav jiju. "Sorry. Ek minute manane do--"

"Mein nahi maan rahi--" Shehnaaz said annoyed.

Aarav jiju chuckled, "Jaa mera baccha-- sunn le baat." He tried to convince her. 

Siddharth pulled her in his arms, "Thank you jiju."

Aarav gave him a thumbs up and turned to leave. "Pareshaan mat karna usko.. warna bahot maar khaayega." He warned and Siddharth nodded. 

As soon as the jijus were far enough out of earshot, Siddharth pressed Shehnaaz closer into his arms. Shehnaaz hit his chest, pouting. 

Siddharth kissed her nose. "Gussa hai meri Naaz?" 

"Pareshaan kar rahe ho aap--"

"Mazaak kar raha tha mein. Mazaa aata hai mujhe terko irritate karne mein." He flicked her nose affectionately. 

Shehnaaz huffed. "Sunn li meine baat-- ab mein jaa rahi hoon." She said wriggling out of his arms. 

Siddharth held her arm. "Accha.. accha sorry. Baby ni hai meri-- sorry sorry sorry. I won't irritate you baba.." 

Shehnaaz turned to look at him and smiled. "No masti?"

"Thodi si bas.. masti karne aaye na hum idhar." Siddharth reasoned. 

Shehnaaz nodded thoughtfully, "True."

"Chal tujhe water-slide pe leke chalte hai. Jiju aur didi log udhar hi wait kar rahe honge apna." 

"Okay."

Siddharth pecked her lips. "Bhadak kyon jaati hai tu mujhpe?" He asked cutely. 

Shehnaaz shrugged. "Because I like it when you cajole me."

"Chod de Shehnaaz-- nahi hoga tujhse." Rajveer jiju said in a bored sort of manner. 

"Hoga na jiju. Try toh karne do." She said pouting childishly. 

"Arrey nahi hoga, time waste kar rahi hai." Aarav jiju also supported Raj jiju and Shehnaaz looked back at Siddharth. He smiled.
