"Good morning Superstar.." Siddharth greeted Shehnaaz brightly as soon as she came out of her room, dressed in a plain white kurti & Faded blue jeans. Her hair were styled in a loose braid. Siddharth noticed that she wore the diamond studded pendant that Aarav jiju had gifted her on her birthday. It was a platinum chain with two small S-es entangled together, dangling downwards. Siddharth loved it when she put that particular accessory on and she seemed to have taken a liking to it too because she hardly ever took it off when she was at home.

She did remove it when she had to shoot or go out and Siddharth really understood. He knew how personal and special some things could be.

"Aren't you going to remove that?" Siddharth asked, referring to the aforementioned accessory.

"It's going quite well with this, ain't it?" Shehnaaz asked, confused. "I mean I'll take it off if you'd like."

"No.. yeah it's looking great with the outfit." Siddharth said softly.

Shehnaaz smiled and walked up to him, instinctively Siddharth opened his arms for her and she snuggled right into his arms, inhaling his cologne deeply.

"Did you sleep okay last night?" Siddharth asked gently, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Mostly. Ek do baar aankh khuli-- ajeeb sapne aa rahe the mujhe." Shehnaaz confessed.

Siddharth kissed her head, "Aww mera baby."

"Headache ho raha hai abhi?" Siddharth asked.

She shook her head. "Ab nahi ho raha. Maa kidhar hai?" She asked.

"Preeti ke paas, uske dono bander kheench ke le gaye apne saath. Naani ki yaad aa rahi hai bole.." Siddharth chuckled fondly at the antics of his nephews. "Aa jaayegi abhi.."

Shehnaaz hummed, "Siddharth.. Ekta Ma'am ki party meri first official.. you know-- industry party hogi. Mein theek rahungi na?" She asked hopefully.

Siddharth smiled at her nervousness, "Haan baby. Tu toh Superstar hai na meri? Nervous hai?" He asked.

She nodded.

"Banta hai, nervous hona is not bad, but don't let that nervousness turn into fear. You'll not be alone there. I'll be right next to you. I'll be holding your hand firmly and I'll never.. ever let go." Siddharth whispered to her, certainty shining in his eyes.

"It's a party. You can't be babysitting me the whole time." Shehnaaz shrugged.

Siddharth cupped her face, "It's called being protective, cupcake. You could easily babysit me out there. This is the first time of many and once you have the hang of this you'll have to babysit me, sweetheart because I swear to god I'm terrible at this." He confessed rather sheepishly.

Shehnaaz grinned.

"If I'm not there, by chance Kushal, Jasmin, Niketan and Kratika they'd be there. You'll not be alone. You are not alone." Siddharth assured her.

"Understood."

"That's like my good girl."

Ken was amazing. The Ken Ferns. She had heard a lot about the man from her fiance. He was Siddharth's friend from before he had stepped into the industry. Ken knew her man like a friend and loved him like one too.

He had this explosive energy about himself. He was always bouncing on his feet, always talking and Shehnaaz was instantly connecting to the man.
