Siddharth groaned, moving his arm restlessly around the bed, looking for Shehnaaz but he couldn't. He forced his eyes open, still laden with sleep but just not peaceful enough for his life size cuddle bear had decided to abandon him. He threw the comforter off himself and looked around the room with bleary eyes.

"Shehnaaz.." He shouted for her, impatience dripping from his voice. He waited for a few seconds, but Shehnaaz didn't respond. Siddharth frowned and scanned the room again, confused.

Siddharth reached for his phone on the nightstand and clicked it on. It was well past 1 in the afternoon. Siddharth groaned.

"Utha ke kyon nahi gayi yeh ladki mujhe?" He complained to himself before getting out of bed, taking his phone with him.

As soon as he entered the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee, he smiled looking at the neatly arranged breakfast on the kitchen shelf with a piece of paper stuck underneath. He pulled out the paper and unfolded it.

Siddharth smiled to himself and heated up the coffee that shehnaaz had already brewed to perfection, just as he liked it

Siddharth smiled to himself and heated up the coffee that shehnaaz had already brewed to perfection, just as he liked it. He folded the note neatly and tucked it safely into a book before retrieving the breakfast from the microwave and calling his fiance, hoping that she was just as anxious to talk to him as he was.

Siddharth chuckled softly to himself, "You're giving yourself too much importance Siddharth Shukla." He thought, realizing just how much she had changed him, without even meaning to.

Siddharth had never craved such moments with anyone else. The way he wanted Shehnaaz to always be around him, the way he wanted to wake up to her face everyday. He wanted his days to start and end with her smiles, her laughter, her tired whining even. He had become so very dependent on her for every single thing in his life, it should've scared him, but it didn't anymore. He knew she'd always be right there.

Shehnaaz breathed deeply, stepping out of the driving seat of her car just as Akshar stepped out of the passenger seat. Akshar smiled at her as Shehnaaz took her time to turn away from the car.

"We should've come in my car. I lost the opportunity to open the door for you." Akshar said ruefully. Shehnaaz smiled politely.

"I don't need you to do that, Akshar. I like driving and I really feel very uncomfortable if someone other than Siddharth or Adith bhai is driving me somewhere. I don't trust many people when it comes to driving. I prefer to do it on my own." She confessed. "No offense or anything. It's just how it is."

Akshar nodded. "I totally get it. I would've let you drive." He shrugged.

"That's very kind of you." Shehnaaz said softly.

Akshar smiled. "Shall we?"

Shehnaaz nodded.

"You have great taste. The service here is just brilliant." Akshar remarked. "I've not had any real chance to be here but I've heard a lot of good things about the restaurant."
