The rest of the week leading up to their star-studded reception passed quicker than they had anticipated. The guests kept pouring in, calls kept coming.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz had signed up for a life of spotlight but their family was not used to something like that and thus, they remained reasonably distant from the attention and the spotlight even now. The world of the internet was in a frenzy over the newly married.

They were grateful for every bit of attention and love that they were being showered with but more than that, they were grateful for their friends and their team for taking over their social media for them. No new pictures from the ceremony were released, but here and there, Kaushal and Mehul told them about an especially beautiful wish, or an exceptionally funny imagination of what "SidNaaz wedding" might have looked like. Of course, all in the spirit of good fun and as long as it didn't cross any boundaries.

The night of their reception, Shehnaaz was getting ready in her room with the help of Ken's team.

Ken was not in the room but he was checking in from time to time. Shehnaaz had been sitting there for almost two hours by the time Sidharth peeked into the room.

"Yukta meri biwi already bahut sundar hai yaar. 2 ghante se kya kar rahe ho tum log?" He almost whined.

Shehnaaz opened her eyes, taking her chance as soon as the girl working on her make-up stopped for a moment, and looked at her husband. She grinned, her eyes lighting up as Sidharth raised his eyebrow at her.

"Ho gaya Sidharth sir, bas paanch minute aur." Yukta explained. "You can stay if you'd like. It's your room too."

Sidharth shrugged and walked in while Yukta went back to her job.  "Teddy aaya?" Shehnaaz asked.

"He's outside. I think he was about to leave for the resort." Sidharth informed her. "I don't think I remember Maa looking as beautiful as she does today."

"You said that at our wedding too." Shehnaaz reminded her husband lovingly. Sidharth hmm-ed.

"It was true." He argued cutely. "She looked beautiful that day as well."

Shehnaaz chuckled softly. "I can't wait to see her."

"Are you making fun of me?" Siddharth asked in a soft childlike tone.

"No baby. Of course I'm not. I'm serious." Shehnaaz said softly. Yukta stepped away from Shehnaaz for a few seconds and then smiled before she twirled Shehnaaz's chair to face Sidharth and asked her to open her eyes.

"Verdict?" Yukta asked nervously.

Sidharth smiled. "Good work. But she's beautiful all the time." He said softly. "So.. you know--"

Shehnaaz shook her head fondly.

Yukta smiled at him. "To be fair, her hair took more of our time than her make-up and other things."

"Can I take her away now?" Sidharth asked hopefully.

"She's all yours, after I help her put on her footwear. The outfit won't let her bend over too much." Yukta explained, grabbing her high heeled footwear from a low shelf.

Sidharth stood up from the bed and took the heels from Yukta. "I'll do that. You can leave." He said softly.

Yukta nodded and stepped back from her. "One last thing. There'll be people at the venue to take care of everything outfit related for the two of you." She told the couple. "So don't worry about anything."

"Thank you, Yukta." They said in unison.
