Buck was smiling at his phone while standing at his athletic locker in the boys locker room. Sam walks past with Thor, Thad, Scott, Dax, Blaine, Drex, Desmond & Peter. They saw him as he waa staring lovingly at a picture of Lia that she just sent him.
"What are you doing Buck?" Scott said scaring him. He tried to scrabble and click out of his images and put his phone away to no avail.
"I know that look. It's the same look I give Michelle." Peter said
"Wh-what are you talking about.?" Bucky said
"You got it so bad and don't even realize it." Thad said
"Got what so bad?" Bucky said as he looks confused and the guys start laughing.
"You idiot you like her just admit it. We won't blame you she's amazing and gorgeous." Thor said
"Hey hey that's my best friend we're talking about here."Sam said.
"So! Blondie is right, if I didn't see her as my sister and wasn't in love with Hope, I would definitely try to be her man." Scott said and Buck glares at him.
Sam sees his face and saId"Whoa there calm down killa."
Buck sighs and said "Ok yes I have feelings for her, but I told her she was my best friend."
"That's the best kind of relationship to have. That's how me and Michelle started out. Then when we got to middle school, I fell in love. Dating your best friend is the best because they already know everything about you and you can be yourself. I'm dating my homie and my girl in one." Peter said
So the guys nod in agreement. Buck looks up and said"So you guys think I should go for it?"
"Yeah, but you gotta talk to the Saunders men first cause they don't play about my sis." Sam said
"She's worth it right?" Peter said Buck swallowed hard and nods.
"If it makes you feel better I'll even go with you to ask them." Sam said
Buck breathes a sigh of relief. "Really?"
"Sure, but if they deny you, you're on your own cause they are big and scary." Sam said all the guys start laughing then get ready for practice.
