Jamie

Harry had left to go grab me and Sally some food, food from multiple places anyways. Once he had offered to go to more than one if we wanted different things, Sally and I were all over it. Taco Bell and McDonalds please, I'll take the whole menu.

Not really though.

I wouldn't say that out loud. Knowing Harry he'd do just that.

Sally continued to be apprehensive about my relationship with Harry. I assured her that she had nothing to worry about, he wouldn't hurt me. But of course then she would remind me of Nadine, the hoax artist.

"That wasn't his fault. What did you expect him to do?" I asked her.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe ask a few more questions? Six months is a long time to be pregnant, Jamie. She's famous. She would have had to be in the magazines at some point. He did know research, he just left." She snapped.

She had good points, although she doesn't know Harry like I do. Of course he raced to Nadine, he thought he was going to be a damn father. I know he left rather abruptly, but I didn't expect him to do any less.

"It's not like I was a saint while he was gone, drinking myself stupid." I replied.

"Jamie, you did what any girl would have done at your age. That's what we do. We get hurt, we drink, etc." She waved her hand, "So how long will you be gone?"

I wasn't sure exactly. A few months? I know their break was starting after December. I didn't really confirm, I guess.

I shrugged my shoulders. She held her coffee cup with two hands, rolling her eyes and taking a sip.

"Could you stop being so judgmental?" I asked her.

"Jamie, you're running off with a pop star, what do you expect?" She huffed.

"So? You'd run off with Niall if you had the chance, and please don't deny it." I shook my head at her.

"Fair enough." She sighed.

Who wouldn't want to quit their job and leave their life behind for a little while? I hadn't talked to my parents in months, they'd have no idea. I didn't have to ask. I could really get the space away that I needed, while getting to know Harry's life better.

We continued to talk until Harry returned with three bags full of greasy food.

Harry

"I don't really know what's in each bag." I laughed, setting them down on the table in front of the girls.

They were curled up in blankets with coffee mugs. I sighed looking at the couch, remembering what previously had happened on it. I felt a small twitch in my pants that reminded me that I would have trouble being on that couch doing anything else.

"Thanks, Harold." Sally said nicely, bending over to grab a taco bell bag. Her mouth dropped, "this is way more than what was asked for."

"I just kind of ordered a little of everything. I figured you girls wouldn't mind." I smiled.

Yes, you are correct. I was trying very hard to keep Sally in good graces with me and Jamie. I wanted things to work, and I know that I would need Sally to continue this relationship. I understood her issues and I was determined to make her see that I wasn't that bad. Even though I could strongly tell she was still mad at me for leaving Jamie.

I would definitely be seeing if Niall was still interested, as far as I knew, he wasn't seeing anyone at this point in time. He hadn't really been seeing anyone for a few years now.
