Jamie

Waking up to the morning sun in a giant room that looked nothing like the hotel room with Harry was startling. I listened closely to what woke me up, it was guitar chords in another room. I pushed away the large and fluffy comforter, the boys gave me an oversized shirt and gym shorts to wear to bed.

I was still unfamiliar with my surroundings, confused opening the bedroom door. The house was huge, it could be used for a reality TV show. Instead of guessing, I followed the sounds. It was beautiful, whatever was playing. Finally I got close to a door where it began to get louder, it wasn't closed completely so I pushed it open a little more.

It looked like a studio, large equipment lined the walls. A guitar neck could be seen on the couch that was facing away from the door, accompanied by a blonde head. When I took in the scene more, I saw that Chase was standing closer to a corner, hitting a few buttons. It was Luke playing.

"Whoah." I said.

I couldn't believe I was even enjoying this. My kidnappers were making music and I liked it?

"Hey there." Chase said, just then I realized they were both staring at me while I was cycling through my own thoughts.

"Come on in." Luke said. He was still facing the opposite way from me, Chase turned back around to the table he was fiddling around with.

Luke was focused on his guitar, a piece of unruly hair falling over his eye. I had learned how to play guitar when I was in my early teens. Being obsessed with Green Day and Simple Plan will do that to you while you strum power chords with your black and red striped arm warmers.

I laughed to myself. Those power chords looked like nothing compared to whatever Luke was doing. It was a quiet sound, aching for lyrics.

"Do you sing?" I asked him.

"I do, Jamie." He looked up and smiled.

"Don't ask me to." Chase shook his head. "I'll stay right over here."

I sat down on the couch near Luke, continued to watching him play.

"Can we go over that last bridge again, Chase?" Luke asked.

Chase nodded his head and they started the music back up again.

As I listened to the soothing chords, thoughts of Harry seeped into my mind. How much he would probably enjoy this. Then it reminded me they had me tied up and drugged me in a van. After a few moments of comfortable silence, I was back into defense mode.

I had mentioned Jake to Luke. He said he would get them the address and the worst side of him reminded me that bad things would happen if we tried to get around the plan. I didn't even know what the hell kind of plan they had. They were just two guys. If they wanted to be famous, they could have just made a YouTube or something, not kidnap Harry Styles girlfriend thinking that would be a stellar idea.

"Aren't you guys afraid of you know...this not working out?" I wondered if these words would strike a different type of chord in this room.

"Nope. Harry is a stand up guy. If he likes the music, we'll help him." Luke said waving me off.

"You could have just contacted him instead of you know...drugging me and kidnapping me." I told him.

Luke put the guitar down, I flinched. Not sure of all of his intentions or who he really is. Chase seemed nicer, more calm. Luke felt as if he had something inside of him just looking for a reason to snap, I knew that look.

"You know nothing about this stuff, you know that Jamie? You think you do because you wrote Harry a nice letter and he decided you were worth his time?" Luke asked me.

I moved further away from him.

"You are one in a trillion, dearest Jamie. Contacting Harry Styles is not as easy as that, you are one lucky girl to have even had a chance like that."

"Harry is wonderful. He would try his hardest to get to you, to anyone. To whatever of his ability can allow him. There are other ways you could have tried." I told Luke.

Chase had turned away from the table and looked like he was ready to jump between us at any moment.

"Harry has a busy life, you caught him in one moment of boredom. If it had been any other day, he wouldn't have thought twice about you."

I gasped.

It didn't even phase Luke, the way he spoke to me.

"Come on, man." Chase rolled his eyes.

"What? Someone had to say it to her." Luke grabbed his guitar from the ground and snapped at Chase to keep going.

"I...I think I'll go find something to eat. If that's alright of course." My voice cracked.

"Do whatever you want, just don't leave." Luke warned me.

I nodded my head.

I left the room in the opposite feeling I had when I cracked open that door. For a moment of weakness, I was sympathizing with these guys. But, maybe I was wrong.

Luke's words took the breath out of my chest. It's not like I hadn't thought about it like that from the beginning. The thoughts had crossed my mind before, but hearing it out loud like that made the old feelings bubble up again.

The old feelings of not being enough.

Not being enough for this world and continuing to fight for a love I never expected to have. What hurt more was thinking about not having something to fight for.

That's what kept me from completely falling apart.

It never gets old thanking you for all of your reads and support. So I'll never stop telling you, obviously.

I know this kidnap story is kind of weird, don't get me wrong. Sometimes I don't plan the things that come out my brain and vomit onto my keyboard. Please don't hate me, lol.
