"Cedric is staring at you again Ki." Alicia whispered over the table, tilting her head, shaking it forwards as her eyes made a gesture for Akira to look behind her.

She looked behind her seeing Cedric panick and hurriedly place a book near him in front of his face, attempting to make it look like he was reading all the time.

She stared at him for some second, eyes holding a confused expression, the same as her eyebrows, which were both furrowed, a bit curious to know why he always was looking at her.

"I bet he likes you." Angelina cut in, making Akira turn around and look at her two friends, who happened to be in the same house as her's. Gryffindor.

"I don't know. It's creeping me out, that he stares so much." Kira stated, skimming her eyes over Cedric, who peered over his book, wanting to hear the conversation.

"You'll look so cute together and he competes in the triwizard tournament. Every girl in the school loves him!" Alicia exclaimed happily, placing her head on her fists as she looked dreamily out into the air.

Angelina and Akira looked both at Alicia with grimaced expressions before they nodded at each other.

"Earth to Spinnet! " they both screamed in her ear, making Alicia fall off the chair and the librarian kick them out of the library.

"I'm not after fame. I just want a fun night together with the two of you." Akira explained them, having her arms around the two of her friends, as they walked down one of the many halls of the castle, making their way to the Gryffindor common room.

"The Yule ball is just a ball you kno-." She stated truthfully, interrupting herself when she saw both of her Gryffindor friends's expression.

"Akira! Wait!" A familiar voice echoed in the hall, making the three Gryffindor girls look at the running Hufflepuff down the end of the hall, that they had walked by before.

They all stopped up abruptly, Johnson and Spinnet sending each other knowing looks, grinning widely, as they saw their best friend glare at them deathly, her smile returning back on her face when the out of breath Hufflepuff boy had neared them.

"Cedric, you okay?" Kira asked him, gripping on to her textbook tightly, as she fixed her gaze on the handsome brunette in front of her.

"Hhhh Wa- hhhh -it hhhee wait." Cedric breathed in deeply, holding his right hand up, showing he was out of breath as he needed to get some air before he could continue.

When he finally got his breath again, he stared at Akira intently, fiddling with his hands while being at it.

"Ehm, I was wo-onde-ee-ering if you wa-aa-anted to be my da-ate to the Yule ball." He stuttered as he skimmed her face before he retreated his eyes to the floor.

"Sure." Akira replied smiling warmly.

"I would love to go with you." She changed her answer, making it sound better, as 'sure' wasn't really the best thing to reply.

"Great, I'll wait at the doors to the great hall. See you!" Cedric beamed and waltzed happily down the hall, cheering loudly when he rounded the corner, thinking she couldn't hear him.

"I told you, that he liked you!"

"Angelina Johnson, I'm going to kill you!" She erupted, chasing her down the hall, as she tried catching one of her best friends, throwing her textbook after he while at it.
