telluric currents – chapter fifty three

Scott and I followed Allison into her room.

"So I was looking through one of his drawers and I found this." She held up something but before we could see it, we heard the elevator, which means her dad's home. "He wasn't supposed to be back yet."

"What do we do? Where do we go?" Scott asked in panic.

I bit my lip, trying not to laugh. "Part of you is doing something."

"Oh. Sorry." He said and I pressed my lips together.

But it was still there. Against my jeans.

"Cassie." Scott whispered.

"What?"

"That's worse."

I smiled, trying not to chuckle so I put my hand over my mouth and Scott chuckled softly, so I turned back and he was smiling at me.
