Nagising ako sa malakas na pagkatok ni Mom sa aking pinto. She is yelling and the volume of her tone is evident that she's fuming at the moment.

"Gising na po, Mom!"

Bumangon ako. Kinusot ko ang mga mata at napangiwi nang masaktan. Great, I have swollen eyes. Tumayo na ako. Hindi na ako nag-abalang tignan ang sarili sa salamin dahil paniguradong mukha akong zombie ngayon.

Nagtungo na ako sa pinto at halos mapasigaw ako sa gulat nang buksan ito. Bumungad sa akin ang mukha ni Mom na may kilay na mapagmataas at laging namimintas. As I prevent myself from singing "Stupid Love", I smile at her awkwardly.

"I don't like your demeanor last night, Novy. I am not raising a bitch. You are never going to a bitch towards me again if you don't want me to kick you out of my house. Grow up, hindi ka na bata para pag-sabihan." She said with her perfect shaped eyebrow lifted and made up face.

As usual, the great Mrs. Zarina Amorsolo won't ever get out of her room without her face looking beautiful and her body being well-dressed. This is the trait that I'm really not fond of my Mom. Lagi siyang nag-aayos ng sarili kahit na wala naman siyang pupuntahan. As in, ibang level 'yung pag-aayos niya araw-araw. 'Yung tipong parang may dadating na mahalagang tao sa bahay lagi. Korona na lang ang kulang, iisipin kong siya si Queen Elizabeth ng England.

On cue, my subconscious appeared and she's knitting her eyebrows. Asking me, who on the right mind will exert that much effort for nothing? I tell her, my Mom. And before she even say, she's a weird bitch, I smacked the back of her head so hard that she has to be admitted to the nearest Hospital due to lethal brain hemorrhage.

"Sorry po, Mom." I said with a small voice.

Sininghalan niya lang ako at tinalikuran. Akmang bababa na siya sa hagdan nang bigla siyang tumigil. "May naghahanap sa iyo sa gate. They are all guys." She eyed me with a reaction that I can't recognize.

"You should meet them now and tell them to not hang out with you anymore. Umayos ka. Baka kung anong isipin ni Harrie kapag nakita nilang kung kani-kaninong lalaki ka sumasabit." She looked at me with a disgusted look and headed downstairs without looking back.

Ignoring my Mom's rude attitude, I hastily go downstairs. I stormed out of the house. And I halt when the faces of Hue's friends' came into view.
