"And, for all that, I think we should go to the corrupted area first. Let's go to those areas where there're higher levels. You raise a few levels, and we go to the City of Light. There, you should level up high enough to clear the Forest of Eternal Oblivion. What do you think?" Gjaki proposed.

"I can accompany you against the losts," Maldoa offered.

The drelf had been in the elven village for a while, so she had been invited to the gathering at Goldmi's house.

"I guess it's fine, but..." Eldi accepted.

The high human was the one who had been living in Jorgaldur the shortest. Therefore, he didn't know much about the world either, beyond the memories of the game. That was the reason because he didn't have much to object to.

"But?" the vampiress looked at him suspiciously.

"Well, you know how your plans turned out in the past..." Eldi remembered.

"That was in the game!" Gjaki protested.

He looked at Goldmi. The elf had been there for many decades. At the gaze of her friend, she made an effort not to laugh, as she answered.

"Still the same..." she replied, while shaking her head and covering her mouth with one hand.

"Goldmi! You, traitor!" the blood warrior accused her.

"What have I missed?" Maldoa asked, confused.

"In the past, Gjaki's plans were never fulfilled. No matter how meticulous they were, we always had to end up improvising," the elf explained.

"Ah! She's still the same," Elenksia, Elendnas's sister, intervened.

Gjaki looked at her for a moment with her mouth wide open, as she wanted to deny her words. In the end, she looked away, as she pouted like an angry little girl.

"Well, we'll have to prepare to improvise," Eldi agreed.

"You too...? You're all traitors..." the vampiress murmured without looking at them.

"Come on, don't make that face. Look, I made you some blood cakes," Goldmi tried to cheer her.

They weren't really made of blood, just red. However, the twins liked to call them that.

"You're not going to bribe me with that..." Gjaki resisted, though she was looking at them out of the corner of her eye.

"I also have honey chocolate rolls," she brought her a plate that has just taken out from the inventory.

Despite herself, the vampiress picked one up, though she didn't look at them for a while. However, she had already lost the battle. It was only a matter of time before she forgot about the betrayal. Actually, it was just that she found it embarrassing.

Nonetheless, they didn't have to wait much longer. Suddenly, two little elves rushed in, followed by Klimsal.

"Mom! Look what I've done!" one of them ran towards Goldmi.

"Dad! Look at my drawing!" the other exclaimed.

"Ah! Aunt Gjaki is here! And aunt Maldi!"

"And uncle Eldi! Can you build us the rink!?"

"Yeah! Uncle Eldi! Build us the rink!"

Eldi looked confused at the girls, and then at their mother. He didn't know what it was about.

"There is no place to skate completely flat. We told them that you could do it," Gjaki intervened, cheerful again, as if nothing had happened.

"Speaking of traitors..." the battle mage accused her.
