Ground bones

The skeleton was received by several Rough Arrows in its skull, and a Devastating Blow in the ribs. In a normal situation, it would have been able to dodge the hammer blow, but the arrows had unbalanced it. Furthermore, a whip had Grabbed one of its legs and pulled it, thus making it lose balance.

The Collide of the albino bird and the charge of the feline only worsened its situation. It was a powerful undead, one of the supreme lords of that valley, but it was facing beings whose power wasn't lower than its, there were more of them, and they were coordinated.

Several spears were stabbed into the ground, and pierced the gap between its ribs. That prevented it from moving, no matter how much it tried to struggle. Meanwhile, its legs, arms and skull were attacked with hammers.

Eldi cast Mortar over and over again. It was a skill meant to be used on rocks, but it was also effective on enemies if they didn't move much.

"I'm close," Gjaki said to herself, as she was practicing Devastating Blow once again.

She felt like she was about to learn it. So much so, that Eldi was forced to switch to said skill, so that the vampiress could imitate it. She had even managed to convince the elf, who felt a bit strange and clumsy holding a hammer.

The lynx's fire was scorching the bones of the left arm, which she had separated with her jaw. It was somewhat shocking to see how the hand continued to move, despite the arm being separated from the body. However, it couldn't reach the feline, as she was biting the forearm hard, trying to break it.

It wasn't until a few bones had cracked that Goldmi purified the skeleton with Lightballs. They were much more effective when penetrating into the broken bones.

"Shall I make the hole?" Eldi asked.

They had been talking about, instead of trapping it there, creating a hole with Mole's Power. It would be filled it with Light Abysses, and they would even leave a Light Wall inside.

"No, I want to continue practicing, I almost have it," Gjaki refused.

It wasn't until the third skeleton that the energy finally flowed through the hammer to intensify the blow. It wasn't perfect. She noticed that part of the energy was lost, that it wasn't projected properly, that there was ample room for improvement.

Despite this, the vampiress couldn't help but smile. Not only had she achieved it, but the Devastating Blow skill with affinity 0.1 had appeared in the game interface.

"Not even one..." she complained, although her smile didn't disappear from her face. "Now, I need to practice to improve it!"

"I was afraid she would say that," Eldi sighed.

"You know how she is. She won't stop until it's perfect," Goldmi felt his pain.

"Stop the chatter, you also have skills to practice. It's not always easy to get a good training bag," Gjaki urged them.

"You know, I have a gate to the turtles," Eldi revealed.

"Turtles? What turtles?" the vampiress asked, confused.

"Those which were behind the waterfall. There were thousands of them that barely moved and were vulnerable to fire. The ones we used in the game to practice. They're still the same, it's just more crowded," Eldi explained.

"Ah! I remember them!" Goldmi exclaimed.

"Now you say it!? We have to go when we're done! I need to put up a gate! I could take the others..." the blood warrior began to make plans.

"Until now I couldn't summon gates..." the battle mage defended himself.

"Oh, right... That saves you... Could you make some weapons with fire? It'll be good for them to practice," she asked.

"Of course, of course. We'll talk later," he resigned.

"You're the best! Well, let's finish this quickly and prepare the hole," she had changed her mind.

"Heh, heh. She's already got something else into her head. We're going to have to go no matter what," the elf mocked. "Although, it wouldn't hurt to have a gate as well, it can be useful."

Gjaki followed up with Devastating Blows, while Eldi was able to switch to a more efficient Mortar. The elf continued trying with the hammer for a while longer, until she gave up on it as impossible. That wasn't for her. Besides, there was something else that was bothering her, a feeling that was getting stronger and stronger.

"Do you feel it too?" she asked her sisters.

"Yes. It's water sister," confirmed the lynx.

"We have to go look for her," the goshawk asked. She sounded worried.

"We'll go soon. But first, we have to finish what we're doing here," the elf assured.

She was feeling increasingly anxious too, but they had a mission to accomplish. Those undead should rest in peace.

When the next skeleton reached them, it fell into the trap dug with Mole's Power, above the Light Wall, and triggered several Abysses. As it was inside the hole, the purifying power was even more concentrated, and the Icicles at the bottom served the function of immobilizing it. Not all, but some had gotten between the bones, making it difficult for it to move.

The hole wasn't too deep, and there were a couple of recesses on the sides. Eldi and Gjaki went down them to hammer the skeleton. It helped to immobilize it and break its bones, thus amplifying the purifying power.

The next skeleton tried to avoid the hole. It wanted to die, but being so close boosted its desire to kill. However, Gjaki had replaced the threads, which became tangled in the skeleton. She manipulated them with Live Thread, and she also Grabbed it with the whip to throw it into the hole.

Eldi collaborated by Propelling the skeleton with the hammer, which ended like the previous one. The only difference was that it was tangled in threads that hindered its mobility even more, and which were barely damaged by the attacks. They could always be fixed on the anvil anyway.

It wouldn't be the only weapon that would need to be fixed. The hammers suffered from hitting the hard bones, so they would also need some maintenance. Not to mention a few arrows. Although now, the elf could go to her own Beginner's Village whenever she wanted, and repair them.

She planned to take her husband and her daughters to visit it, and take them to the spring. Although first, something more important was waiting for her. Her water sister.
