As the sun set over the bustling city, Charles sat in his hotel room, feeling drained and exhausted after a challenging race weekend. Just as he was contemplating what to do for the evening, a soft knock interrupted his thoughts. He made his way to the door and opened it to find Alexandra standing there, a warm smile on her face, holding a bottle of wine.

"Hey," she said softly in French, "I hope you don't mind, but I brought some wine. Thought we could have a little night in together and order room service."

Charles couldn't help but smile at her thoughtfulness. "Of course, Lexi. Come on in."

He stepped aside to let her in, and as she entered, he couldn't help but notice her attire—a satin pajama set and fluffy socks.

"Fluffy socks, huh?" he teased. "Going for maximum comfort?"

Alexandra laughed playfully, "After the day we've had, I just want to relax."

She glanced around the room, taking in the view of the city lights, and then turned to Charles.

"Did you have any plans for the evening?" she asked. "I don't want to intrude." she switched to English, something Charles had begun to notice she did often. Whenever they spoke, she'd flicker between both languages, seemingly unaware of herself.

Charles shook his head, "No, not really. I was just going to grab some dinner, but I like your suggestion much better."

Alexandra held up the wine, "Well, we both had a tough weekend, and I thought it'd be nice to unwind away from the afterparty, especially considering we're flying out again tomorrow. I don't fly well hungover."

"Sounds perfect," Charles replied gratefully, reaching for the Room Service menu. "Thank you for looking out for me this weekend, Lex."

She grinned as she opened the bottle of wine and poured him a glass, watching with amusement as he took a big swig.

"Maybe we need more than one bottle," she commented with raised eyebrows.

Charles chuckled, "You might be onto something there." he grinned.

Charles sat on the edge of the plush hotel couch, looking at the room service menu while Alexandra leaned over to rest her head on his shoulder so she could read it too. They discussed the food options, playfully debating between pasta dishes and eventually settling on two dishes, agreeing to share.

As Charles picked up the phone to call reception, Alexandra noticed him ordering a bottle of vodka, a bottle of whiskey, and a bucket of ice. She raised her eyebrows but didn't complain, knowing that Charles likely wanted to drink something stronger to unwind.

"Feeling like having a little party tonight?" she teased as he put the phone down, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Charles chuckled, "Well, not exactly a party, but I think we both deserve to let off some steam after this weekend."
