As the champion, you are bestowed with the honour of leading a group of level 99 users on an expedition to the sacred pocket dimension known as 'Fafnir's Grave.' Additionally, you have the privilege of selecting two treasures from Hercules' esteemed collection.

Item: Pure Yang Seed

A seed that can strengthen a body and convert a neutral body to a yang-type body. It also improves one's sensitivity to fire-type magic and cultivation arts.

A dan that can increase the quality and quantity of one's life body. Increasing lifespan, one's physical abilities. If one has healing skills, it can also improve them greatly, allowing one to reach the realm of regenerating limbs if one is skilled enough.

Item: Hela's Key

A key that unlocks an entrance to an inheritance ground for Hela. This inheritance ground is directly connected to Niflheim and can grant one access to the sovereign of Hel. The Mindforge Crown is a headpiece forged with ancient psychic alloys. When worn, it intensifies the mental faculties of the user, unlocking hidden potential. It enhances telepathic communication, amplifies mental defences, and enables the cultivation of unique psychic abilities exclusive to the wearer. Additionally, it offers protection against mind control and intrusive psychic influence.

Select your two treasures wisely, for they will serve as invaluable assets in your journey, bolstering your capabilities and granting you an edge against formidable adversaries.]

Will only looked at the rewards for a moment. Everything on that list could benefit him one way or another, some more than others. For example, Hela's inheritance ground could give him access to powerful arts, or perhaps even access to Hela herself. With her divine energy, his use of her spells would greatly improve.

If he chose the Life-force Dan, he could gain a few more years of lifespan and increase the rating of his weakest vessel, his body. This would make him a much greater warrior and would greatly improve his Radiant Energy, which was a healing ability at its core.

Even the Pure Yang Seed could benefit Will. He was a yin cultivator, but it could be used to create a powerful weapon or he could exchange it with others for something else.

Will did not take long to choose, however. These rewards were all good, but he didn't have time to waste.

"So young mortal, what is your choice?" asked Hercules.

Will hesitated for a moment and said, "Before I make my choice, is it possible to know the situation of my friends? I have been gone for a while now."

Modus smiled and looked at the masked Hou Yi. The bald archer smiled underneath his mask. He stepped forward and said with a cheerful tone, "I can help with that."

Will did not expect the famous archery deity to talk at this point. He had no idea why he was the one to speak now. Hou Yi chuckled and said, "You lead the guild known as Senbonken, with an archer named Duke?"

Will nodded dazed. It only took him a moment to connect certain thoughts in his mind.

'Duke is an archer, did he do something that caught Hou Yi's attention?'

"Your friend appeared on my radar some time back. I have a list of mortals I keep an eye on. The moment any yang-type archer catches my attention, I give them clues to one of my inheritance sites. I've had my eye on this Duke for a while, but he did not seem to have much potential, so I didn't have much of an expectation of him.

But I like to be cautious, so I take extra steps in certain cases. And here it paid off. After having his fate tested, I saw that he was destined for greatness. His destiny did not match his weak background or average potential so I knew something was odd about him. Hence I immediately went to Young Master Ha to report this interesting case, and that was when Lord Modus approached us with news regarding you."

Will was astounded by this knowledge. Duke seemed like the least promising in his entire company. Will had recruited him on a whim, due to his interest in humorous characters and archery.

Hou Yi went on, "There is no such thing as a coincidence in this world. Thus after Lord Modus told us about you, I kept a close eye on the boy and gave him clues to a nearby inheritance site of mine. I upgraded the rewards and made the trials on the site more suited to his set of skills. Of course, I didn't make it too easy. But he did not disappoint. The rest of your team has also been doing well in this dungeon. I started observing them as well the moment I learned of your identity."

Hou Yi went on to reveal the situation of Will's crew. Will was stunned by what they had achieved while he was away.

'Seems like bringing Woodsy and Merlin into the Gates of Knowledge and Power was a good decision.'
