I should have made it clear in the last chapter, but I'll do it now. Athena only got Arie to Italy as Verona wanted, but Athena didn't tell her about Arie's kids so Verona doesn't know anything regarding that.

IMPORTANT: Okay, so in the previous chapter I saw some good amount of hate going around. I'm used to the hate toward the characters and that's fine. It's your opinion, but in the comments, some were rude to the other readers which I do not appreciate at all. I want this to be a peaceful environment where you can all write your opinions and respectful of others. If you disagree with someone, kindly be respectful and have a friendly banter or debate about it. Don't attack anyone personally because it's uncalled for and makes me feel down and like shit even if it's not meant for me. There have been numerous times I've personally disagreed with some readers, but I always try to be respectful about it or don't comment on it at all. I don't go around bashing people for their opinions. It's one of the reasons you guys had to wait a bit longer for this chapter because I felt personally demotivated and had a really hard time finishing it cuz of that shit. So please, be kind to each other and keep the environment in this book friendly and engaging so that people would want to join in on theories and conversations where you guys can get along and make friends despite the difference of opinions. Lastly, I love you all very much ❤️

Happy reading ❤️

(Leo's POV)

My entire body was on fire as a result of the rage coursing through my blood after I spent the past hour and a half staring at the two DNA test results that claimed I had two children. And then the phone call with Arie... Veins popped on my fists and temples thinking of the lies that were thrown in my face, but I tried to calm my temper as I entered the penthouse on the top floor of the hotel and headed for my room. Verona was seated on the high back chair by the glass wall and wrote in her diary which encapsulated all of her poems that she still hadn't shown me.

She smiled as I approached and sat on the table in front of her. The sun of dawn shined on her face and made her squint as she closed the diary and placed it aside to give me her complete attention.

"Is something wrong?" she wondered, shifting a little to seek shade from the sun's glare.

"I have two children," I blurted and watched her features morph into confusion.

"I don't understand." She scooted a bit to the edge of her seat and softened her gaze. "Arie?"

I nodded.

She took a minute to contemplate the information then rested her hands on mine. "That's good news, right?"

I exhaled frustratingly whilst rubbing my hands over my face without saying a word.

"You finally have an heir." She forced my eyes open and made me see the little glimmer of hope in her blue eyes. "You must legitimize the children. That can only happen if you marry Arie and make her the queen."

"Verona, please!" I rebuked her for bringing up the topic once again and tried to calm my anger. Plagued by fury, I saw nothing but red when I heard Arie's name. She lied to my fucking face. Had she been untruthful about everything she said that night in the elevator? Was it all meaningless for her? The conversations we had, the laughs we shared reminiscing over old memories during that time, and the moment I held her when she sobbed. Was it just an act to fool me?
